As AD, Anthony will be responsible for gathering, creating, documenting, scheduling, staffing, moderating, and supporting fandom panels in the style of classic horror and monsters. The Media track focuses on movies and television, but also discusses audio fiction and games. The Media track does not typically present panel topics covered by other tracks.
The AD is also responsible for the track room and the conduct of participants both on the panel and in the audience. The AD reports to the Director of Panel Programming and to the Con Co-Chairs. The AD is a spokesperson and representative of Monsterama. The AD will have assistance from the Programming Production Assistant and Creative Consultants, as well as the Director.
Monsterama Con is Atlanta’s only retro horror and sci-fi convention, focusing on the fantastic in cinema, art, comics, literature, and media. This year's 3-day event will take place at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast October 27-29, 2023. More information about the convention can be found here.
Anthony is a long-time congoer in the Atlanta area, having attended Dragon Con every year since the early 2000s. He has also been a panelist at CONjuration for the last few years, and recently was a first time panelist at ATL Comic Convention and Nerdi-Gras.
