Moon Knight E2 - Fandom Hybrid Podcast #158

#moonknight #marvel We’re back! After an almost month-long unexpected hiatus in which we dealt with real life and Covid (grrr), we are back with our recap and discussion ofMoon Knight, episode 2. Coming to grips with the fact that he is sharing his body with another persona, Steven’s life gets more complicated when he comes face-to-face with not only Harrow – a man he believed was a figment of his imagination, but he also meets Marc’s wife, Layla – who has some questions about why her husband has been MIA for the last six months. Learning about Harrow’s ideology and what he plans to do to release the god Ammit, Steven and Marc must find a way to work together to stop Harrow from succeeding in his plans – all while trying to assert some independence from Khonshu.

This episode was originally recorded on April 27 2022.

1
00:00:25,200 --> 00:00:27,900
What's a pirate's, welcome back
to another episode of The

2
00:00:27,900 --> 00:00:30,900
Phantom hybrid podcast.
This is hanako and I am here

3
00:00:30,900 --> 00:00:35,400
with Anthony Lori and Mike and
we are discussing episode 2 of

4
00:00:35,400 --> 00:00:38,100
the Disney plus series
Moonlight.

5
00:00:38,200 --> 00:00:42,500
And I think this is going to be
one of those series that gets

6
00:00:42,500 --> 00:00:47,800
better as we go along, because
this episode was so funny and so

7
00:00:47,800 --> 00:00:53,200
much fun, you know, we were
going to record this episode a

8
00:00:53,200 --> 00:00:57,400
few weeks ago.
Go and I couldn't do it.

9
00:00:57,400 --> 00:00:59,500
I had to back out for some
reason I can't remember.

10
00:00:59,500 --> 00:01:02,500
And then Mike couldn't be on it
and I was like, oh no.

11
00:01:02,500 --> 00:01:06,300
We have to talk about this with
Mike because you can't do the

12
00:01:06,300 --> 00:01:10,400
eye Muhammad Ali quote and not
have Michael on here because I

13
00:01:10,400 --> 00:01:13,100
know you have something clever
to add to that.

14
00:01:13,200 --> 00:01:19,100
That line was so funny.
I was not expecting it and then

15
00:01:19,100 --> 00:01:22,400
when he bust out with it and
went with the, my name is Steven

16
00:01:22,400 --> 00:01:24,000
with a V.
I was like, you know what?

17
00:01:25,400 --> 00:01:27,700
Like this sounds like one of
Mike's jokes.

18
00:01:28,300 --> 00:01:31,600
Oh yeah.
He was all.

19
00:01:31,600 --> 00:01:33,600
I mean.
But first of all we need when he

20
00:01:33,600 --> 00:01:36,800
transformed into the Suez like
that was the funniest thing

21
00:01:36,800 --> 00:01:39,600
because like course he's not
going to transform into Moon

22
00:01:39,600 --> 00:01:43,000
night with a cape and a mask and
stuff people transfer it to

23
00:01:43,000 --> 00:01:45,900
somebody with a suit because
he's never seen Moon Knight in

24
00:01:45,900 --> 00:01:46,700
all.
Glory.

25
00:01:46,700 --> 00:01:48,800
He's never seen him.
So he's like since suit.

26
00:01:48,800 --> 00:01:50,100
Okay.
I mean I was just, you know,

27
00:01:50,100 --> 00:01:53,700
he's an all white suit with a
mask on and that motherfucker

28
00:01:54,900 --> 00:01:59,300
that suit was so sharp.
That was clean.

29
00:01:59,300 --> 00:02:01,400
That was clean all the way
around.

30
00:02:01,500 --> 00:02:04,300
I know I mentioned in the first
episode, but I have that as my

31
00:02:04,300 --> 00:02:07,400
home screen because this is I
saw when the, when the, when the

32
00:02:07,400 --> 00:02:10,900
post is first came out, I was
like that sub sharp shit right

33
00:02:10,900 --> 00:02:14,200
there, man.
And then while he was, somebody

34
00:02:14,200 --> 00:02:16,700
gave me the link for the I'm
close.

35
00:02:16,700 --> 00:02:18,800
Was it or the faction?
Mike was that you or the

36
00:02:18,800 --> 00:02:20,400
Hanukkah?
It might have been me?

37
00:02:20,700 --> 00:02:24,700
Probably wanna go because my,
everybody if you do want it, it

38
00:02:24,700 --> 00:02:27,300
is available through.
Are timid or which is, you know,

39
00:02:27,300 --> 00:02:29,900
you never order because they
never actually fulfill the

40
00:02:29,900 --> 00:02:33,300
orders.
But it's they're coming out next

41
00:02:34,100 --> 00:02:38,400
spring in 2023, the both
versions of soot version and the

42
00:02:38,400 --> 00:02:39,800
regular Moon night.
Why?

43
00:02:39,800 --> 00:02:42,800
So that's a year from now why
though?

44
00:02:42,800 --> 00:02:46,000
Yeah why.
Okay when you okay, I do this.

45
00:02:46,200 --> 00:02:49,300
I don't know, I may be a need of
some too, but when you get an

46
00:02:49,300 --> 00:02:53,200
action figure, or a statue or a
bus, you can order through

47
00:02:53,400 --> 00:02:57,300
style, Online, Entertainment
Earth, or any, or ThinkGeek, or

48
00:02:57,300 --> 00:03:00,100
any of those online places and
they have this thing called

49
00:03:00,100 --> 00:03:02,600
pre-orders.
And in the spring, because I've

50
00:03:02,600 --> 00:03:06,900
sent you guys several in the
spring, they gather interest and

51
00:03:06,900 --> 00:03:09,800
they send out these feelers a
lot of Star Wars stuff Star

52
00:03:09,800 --> 00:03:12,300
Trek, whatever.
And they're like, okay we have

53
00:03:12,300 --> 00:03:16,000
1300 but we need to get a
pre-order of at least 1,200 to

54
00:03:16,200 --> 00:03:19,000
The figure like the Tonkin
sisters, they keep doing the

55
00:03:19,000 --> 00:03:23,800
showers, but they never do.
And so they get a quota then

56
00:03:23,800 --> 00:03:26,400
they put in order to the Toy
Factory and then that's why it

57
00:03:26,400 --> 00:03:29,000
takes them a year because they
have to make the mold cast, it

58
00:03:29,000 --> 00:03:31,900
package design it deliver it
entertainment.

59
00:03:31,900 --> 00:03:34,600
Or if it's notorious because
they have everything.

60
00:03:34,600 --> 00:03:37,800
I once ordered a bat'leth nine
years ago, I'm still waiting on

61
00:03:37,800 --> 00:03:39,300
the bat'leth, that's how bad
they are.

62
00:03:39,400 --> 00:03:43,400
Okay.
So basically the pre-orders take

63
00:03:43,400 --> 00:03:46,000
a year to fulfill and then
they're supposed to ship them

64
00:03:46,000 --> 00:03:48,200
out.
Out and then they charge you the

65
00:03:48,200 --> 00:03:50,100
week that it ships out.
So if you have a lot of

66
00:03:50,100 --> 00:03:52,900
pre-orders like some of my
friends do you need to watch

67
00:03:52,900 --> 00:03:56,800
your bank account because you
might need him, right?

68
00:03:57,400 --> 00:03:59,600
No that's why take so long I'm
sorry.

69
00:03:59,600 --> 00:04:02,000
Mike I didn't interrupt.
You know you're fine.

70
00:04:02,200 --> 00:04:04,900
It's like and plus like when he
was doing it, he was rolling up

71
00:04:04,900 --> 00:04:07,400
his sleeve.
It's like in like the Stills

72
00:04:07,400 --> 00:04:09,400
that they were giving, they had
one where mr.

73
00:04:09,400 --> 00:04:13,100
Knight that's what Stevens una
Persona is, and he's rolling his

74
00:04:13,100 --> 00:04:15,500
sleeve up like this, where he
looks like he's doing the vibe

75
00:04:15,500 --> 00:04:18,300
thing.
Almost everything, but, but it

76
00:04:18,300 --> 00:04:20,899
was actually in the scene, where
he's just like, oh, you're going

77
00:04:20,899 --> 00:04:23,000
to catch it now, Mike, you're
gonna get it now night?

78
00:04:23,000 --> 00:04:26,300
It was, it was more silly than
him being like, yo babe, what's

79
00:04:26,300 --> 00:04:28,500
up?
You know, she, she wasn't doing

80
00:04:28,500 --> 00:04:30,300
all that.
He was just like, you know, for

81
00:04:30,300 --> 00:04:31,700
like a butterfly, sting like a
bee.

82
00:04:31,800 --> 00:04:34,500
Cause I'm Steven with the V.
I think that's one of my

83
00:04:34,500 --> 00:04:37,200
favorite things about him.
Is that even with the suit he's

84
00:04:37,200 --> 00:04:39,400
not serious, like he's still
Steven.

85
00:04:39,400 --> 00:04:45,000
He's like, you would think that
you're in the midst of all this

86
00:04:45,000 --> 00:04:50,300
chaos and One is chasing you and
your other personas wife is

87
00:04:50,300 --> 00:04:54,500
they're trying to help you and
when she tells him to summon the

88
00:04:54,508 --> 00:04:57,100
suit and he's like, how do I do
that?

89
00:04:57,100 --> 00:05:00,300
Like, what do I do?
And then the way that he does it

90
00:05:00,300 --> 00:05:04,600
and it comes through, I mean,
all of this is classic Steven

91
00:05:04,600 --> 00:05:09,200
like I thought, especially from
the way the promos were, you

92
00:05:09,200 --> 00:05:12,200
know, when you look at the promo
poster of him in the suit with

93
00:05:12,200 --> 00:05:16,400
the mask, he looks hard.
Like he looks like is going to

94
00:05:16,407 --> 00:05:21,500
whoop some ass and then you get
the reality of it and it was

95
00:05:21,500 --> 00:05:27,800
just like Okay, this is not good
but it's still funny and I still

96
00:05:27,800 --> 00:05:31,200
like it because it even it's a
good way to show.

97
00:05:31,200 --> 00:05:37,600
Distinctively that Stephen and
Mark are two, totally totally

98
00:05:37,600 --> 00:05:42,400
different people even when he
hit the pipe and did the flip,

99
00:05:42,400 --> 00:05:45,000
and when he deleted and do the
perfect three-point superhero

100
00:05:45,000 --> 00:05:48,000
Landing but then he couldn't
hold it any filters.

101
00:05:48,300 --> 00:05:51,800
He fell to the side.
It was like it was like oh

102
00:05:51,800 --> 00:05:54,200
that's cool.
Oh yeah, that's Steven.

103
00:05:54,200 --> 00:05:57,400
Okay.
Did I send you guys the meme

104
00:05:57,400 --> 00:06:00,100
wears?
Like it's Deadpool saying oh

105
00:06:00,100 --> 00:06:02,800
he's going to come in for a
perfect superhero landing and

106
00:06:02,800 --> 00:06:09,000
then he falls and Deadpool's
like, nope, I love this

107
00:06:09,000 --> 00:06:10,300
character.
Okay, let's get into the

108
00:06:10,300 --> 00:06:12,900
episode.
So, of course, we pick up where

109
00:06:12,900 --> 00:06:16,600
we were at the end of the last
episode, all this stuff happened

110
00:06:16,600 --> 00:06:18,700
at the Museum.
There was the fight.

111
00:06:18,700 --> 00:06:22,400
The bathroom has been destroyed.
So Stephen starts out going to

112
00:06:22,400 --> 00:06:26,400
the museum.
He's looking at his you know the

113
00:06:26,400 --> 00:06:30,700
security guard who keeps calling
him Scotty for some reason,

114
00:06:30,700 --> 00:06:35,800
again, I was like is that one of
his, his personas, but it's not

115
00:06:35,900 --> 00:06:38,800
that dude just doesn't give a
fuck enough to like, call him by

116
00:06:38,800 --> 00:06:41,200
his real name, which is really
aggravating.

117
00:06:41,500 --> 00:06:44,800
But when Stephen tries to tell
him, okay?

118
00:06:44,800 --> 00:06:48,100
Hey, so the police are here, you
know, you can see, you know,

119
00:06:48,100 --> 00:06:50,600
kind of what's going on.
They're doing an investigation

120
00:06:50,900 --> 00:06:54,300
and he tells the guy he's like,
okay, I need to show you

121
00:06:54,300 --> 00:06:57,500
something, it's going to blow
your mind and when he pulls up

122
00:06:57,500 --> 00:07:03,500
the footage from the fight, you
know, the night before I was

123
00:07:03,500 --> 00:07:05,900
just like, even before the
footage came up, I was like,

124
00:07:05,900 --> 00:07:10,100
Stephen, Stephen, Stephen, this
is not going to turn out the way

125
00:07:10,100 --> 00:07:13,200
that you wanted to.
They're not going to see what

126
00:07:13,200 --> 00:07:18,000
you think, you saw and even on,
even on the video.

127
00:07:18,900 --> 00:07:22,600
Yes, it's clear that he's
looking at something, but it

128
00:07:22,600 --> 00:07:25,400
looks so much.
Different watching it from like

129
00:07:25,400 --> 00:07:28,700
an outsider's point of view than
it does from when we saw it.

130
00:07:28,700 --> 00:07:31,000
Because when we saw it, of
course it's clear, you know,

131
00:07:31,000 --> 00:07:34,000
he's running from the Jackal,
he's fighting, he's throwing his

132
00:07:34,000 --> 00:07:36,000
bag.
But then when you look at it on

133
00:07:36,000 --> 00:07:39,600
the security cameras, kind of
like do what are you doing?

134
00:07:40,700 --> 00:07:44,000
Here because they you realize
like the jackals didn't really

135
00:07:44,100 --> 00:07:47,700
hit anything like that.
That cools is going after him

136
00:07:48,400 --> 00:07:52,100
and again it makes him look like
in that case it's basically like

137
00:07:52,100 --> 00:07:54,100
like a like a Marvel version of
mr.

138
00:07:54,100 --> 00:07:56,800
Snuffleupagus.
He's like he's right there and

139
00:07:56,800 --> 00:07:59,900
then he's not right there.
So it's like and nobody believes

140
00:07:59,900 --> 00:08:02,000
that he was there.
So he's like he's basically Big

141
00:08:02,000 --> 00:08:04,800
Bird time tell people that mr.
Snuffleupagus is chasing him.

142
00:08:04,800 --> 00:08:06,400
And he's like, what do you want
about this?

143
00:08:06,400 --> 00:08:10,100
Nobody's chasing you and it's
like we're a point of order mr.

144
00:08:10,100 --> 00:08:14,100
Stuff Elliptic, is his real, you
know what I mean?

145
00:08:17,100 --> 00:08:20,300
But nobody saw it.
See, I would be the one to be

146
00:08:20,300 --> 00:08:21,000
like.
Yeah.

147
00:08:21,000 --> 00:08:24,400
I think that Jack was all in his
mind Snuffy, however, is real.

148
00:08:24,400 --> 00:08:28,400
And it's funny because this is
the second conversation where

149
00:08:28,400 --> 00:08:30,600
mr.
Snuffleupagus is come up for me

150
00:08:30,600 --> 00:08:33,600
in the last week.
So the fact that you just

151
00:08:33,600 --> 00:08:35,200
randomly brought that up
Anthony.

152
00:08:35,200 --> 00:08:37,600
It's just like weird for my
brother.

153
00:08:40,500 --> 00:08:43,299
Me.
It's a it means I have no

154
00:08:43,299 --> 00:08:46,500
opinion because I don't have any
real imaginary friends.

155
00:08:47,100 --> 00:08:48,300
That's the shape of the
stroller.

156
00:08:49,600 --> 00:08:53,100
Yeah, I mean what if he destroys
the bathroom?

157
00:08:53,100 --> 00:08:58,000
That's not the mr.
Snuffleupagus thing because

158
00:08:58,000 --> 00:09:03,600
babies like you destroyed.
The knew that was you poor baby

159
00:09:03,600 --> 00:09:05,200
because wait, where he starts
hitting?

160
00:09:05,200 --> 00:09:06,200
No, you got to look, you got
that.

161
00:09:06,200 --> 00:09:07,600
I was like Stephen stop.
Stop.

162
00:09:07,600 --> 00:09:10,300
Stop stop.
And it's like this.

163
00:09:10,400 --> 00:09:12,800
Was one of those episodes where
I was constantly talking to the

164
00:09:12,800 --> 00:09:14,400
TV like poop?
No.

165
00:09:14,400 --> 00:09:16,000
Just just go.
No.

166
00:09:16,000 --> 00:09:20,300
Just it was one of those where
you kind of like, okay, Stephen

167
00:09:20,300 --> 00:09:24,800
obviously I understand this is
still all new to you, but I

168
00:09:24,800 --> 00:09:27,600
think you are aware enough to
notice.

169
00:09:27,900 --> 00:09:31,800
Um, yeah.
Something's not right.

170
00:09:31,900 --> 00:09:34,600
I need to let this go.
I need to not say anything to

171
00:09:34,600 --> 00:09:37,400
anybody because what happens
when you do that kind of stuff,

172
00:09:37,500 --> 00:09:40,300
somebody's coming after you,
somebody's trying.

173
00:09:40,500 --> 00:09:45,300
Kill you or whatever and we
don't really know at this point,

174
00:09:46,000 --> 00:09:48,300
what the deal is with him.
We just know that whenever he

175
00:09:48,300 --> 00:09:51,900
needs to get violent, he blacks
out he wakes up and there's like

176
00:09:51,900 --> 00:09:57,100
bodies dropped and blood on his
hands and all this other stuff.

177
00:09:57,100 --> 00:10:00,100
You know, I was thinking about I
was like, okay when you look at

178
00:10:00,100 --> 00:10:03,900
his hair and his clothes and the
fact that he's always like

179
00:10:03,900 --> 00:10:08,100
waking up in blood, he reminds
me of Huey from the boys because

180
00:10:08,100 --> 00:10:12,000
Huey is always covered in blood.
It's always Steven at this

181
00:10:12,000 --> 00:10:15,600
point.
I can see that too, and, and the

182
00:10:15,600 --> 00:10:20,400
sad thing is Stephen is he's not
aware of why he's covered in

183
00:10:20,400 --> 00:10:27,900
blood but import thing.
Anyway, so yeah.

184
00:10:27,900 --> 00:10:32,100
So he has the the meeting at the
Museum once they realize, okay,

185
00:10:32,100 --> 00:10:34,800
once they look at the tape and
they see it was him, he has to

186
00:10:34,800 --> 00:10:39,800
go talk to the boss, which I am.
So glad was not that other

187
00:10:39,800 --> 00:10:41,400
chick.
Oh my God, doctor.

188
00:10:43,100 --> 00:10:46,600
I'm so glad it wasn't Donna
because I think with Donna, he

189
00:10:46,600 --> 00:10:50,600
would have been like, definitely
not only out of a job but he

190
00:10:50,600 --> 00:10:52,800
would have been very, very
humiliated as well.

191
00:10:52,800 --> 00:10:56,900
She seems like the type who
would not only fire him but she

192
00:10:56,900 --> 00:11:01,500
would belittle him.
And then walk him out in front

193
00:11:01,500 --> 00:11:04,600
of everybody, you know, the
whole put your things in a box

194
00:11:04,600 --> 00:11:07,900
and walk you out with security.
She seems like that type.

195
00:11:08,300 --> 00:11:10,400
She sure got him hemmed up.
She would have called the cops

196
00:11:10,400 --> 00:11:15,000
and had 12 cops as For him like
out like handcuffed and just

197
00:11:15,000 --> 00:11:17,500
like, pushing him and shoving
him and like, totally making the

198
00:11:17,508 --> 00:11:19,000
scene out of it.
She would totally get him

199
00:11:19,000 --> 00:11:20,200
arrested.
Yeah.

200
00:11:20,300 --> 00:11:24,100
So, at least, he was able to
speak with someone who realizes

201
00:11:24,100 --> 00:11:27,100
that he was going through some
kind of mental break, but still

202
00:11:27,100 --> 00:11:33,100
the fact that he basically lost
his job, you know, and I'm just

203
00:11:33,100 --> 00:11:39,100
like, This is not going to be
good one, because now he's going

204
00:11:39,100 --> 00:11:44,100
to be at home all the time and
we still you know, there's still

205
00:11:44,100 --> 00:11:49,000
so much going on with him and
Mark and then now we have Layla

206
00:11:49,300 --> 00:11:52,300
into the picture Layla was the
person who was like calling back

207
00:11:52,300 --> 00:11:54,200
to back to back to back to back
to back to back.

208
00:11:55,400 --> 00:12:02,000
And what we find out is that is
Mark's wife And I'm like oh this

209
00:12:02,000 --> 00:12:04,900
just got way more complicated
than it needs to be.

210
00:12:05,800 --> 00:12:13,200
Because again how I wonder how
long he's been, he's been

211
00:12:13,200 --> 00:12:17,700
fighting the emergence of Steven
or any other personas that he

212
00:12:17,700 --> 00:12:24,800
has to get like she had no clue.
So as she's sitting there

213
00:12:24,800 --> 00:12:28,300
talking to Steve and he takes
her to his apartment, she's

214
00:12:28,300 --> 00:12:32,600
thinking you know, So you just
went out and started this whole

215
00:12:32,600 --> 00:12:36,600
new life, you just disappeared
and apparently he is also like

216
00:12:36,600 --> 00:12:43,300
filed for divorce.
So it's just like, Mark

217
00:12:43,800 --> 00:12:49,800
obviously has a complicated life
obviously and the crazy thing is

218
00:12:50,300 --> 00:12:54,200
it's not one when we're
introduced to layla.

219
00:12:55,100 --> 00:12:57,900
It's one of those things where
it's kind of like she doesn't

220
00:12:57,900 --> 00:13:00,300
know about Steven and she
doesn't know about Mark silly.

221
00:13:01,400 --> 00:13:04,100
But she pretty much just fit
right in like she picks him up

222
00:13:04,100 --> 00:13:08,800
off the street after he's you
know, this was like after he

223
00:13:08,800 --> 00:13:13,000
went to the storage unit but she
just she picks him up.

224
00:13:13,300 --> 00:13:16,800
She takes him to his place and
it's just kind of like he's

225
00:13:16,800 --> 00:13:19,300
telling her all of this stuff
and she's just like, okay like

226
00:13:19,300 --> 00:13:21,600
she's a little bit in disbelief
because of the fact that she

227
00:13:21,600 --> 00:13:24,900
hasn't heard from Mark, but I
feel like she was kind of like

228
00:13:24,900 --> 00:13:27,800
putting things together and her
head still like, okay.

229
00:13:27,800 --> 00:13:29,800
So hmm.
Let's see.

230
00:13:30,100 --> 00:13:32,300
He's Pretending to be someone
else.

231
00:13:32,500 --> 00:13:36,600
But he seems really sincere
about pretending to be someone

232
00:13:36,600 --> 00:13:39,400
else.
Like, you know, she at first

233
00:13:39,400 --> 00:13:43,000
she's thinking that he's faking
it because he just doesn't want

234
00:13:43,000 --> 00:13:47,900
to be with her, whatever the
case is and then as he's trying

235
00:13:47,900 --> 00:13:51,000
to explain it to her as Stephen
is trying to explain it to her

236
00:13:51,300 --> 00:13:54,700
and he shows her the stuff he
got from the storage locker.

237
00:13:54,900 --> 00:13:59,000
She's just like Hmm.
Okay.

238
00:13:59,600 --> 00:14:04,600
I think, I think, I think it was
easy for her because easier it

239
00:14:04,600 --> 00:14:08,000
at first, because it made you
fat, it doesn't seem like his

240
00:14:08,000 --> 00:14:10,100
first time, he's had fake
identities.

241
00:14:10,400 --> 00:14:14,600
Hmm, and he seems like, she
knows that he will.

242
00:14:14,600 --> 00:14:17,800
He has been Shady things and
we'll do Shady things.

243
00:14:17,800 --> 00:14:21,600
He'd been Shady things together
so it's not like.

244
00:14:21,600 --> 00:14:25,600
So, it's a little weird that
he's acting like he's completely

245
00:14:25,600 --> 00:14:29,500
someone different, As opposed
to, just having a fake, you

246
00:14:29,500 --> 00:14:32,900
know, pass Porter's, right?
Because this is kind of threw

247
00:14:32,900 --> 00:14:35,500
her off a little bit.
Yeah, I think she's used to him,

248
00:14:35,500 --> 00:14:39,800
you know, being, you know,
pretending to be other people.

249
00:14:40,300 --> 00:14:44,900
Yeah.
But I mean, for someone who is

250
00:14:45,100 --> 00:14:50,300
married and this is your, your
spouse to go into all of that.

251
00:14:50,300 --> 00:14:56,100
Like, even with the fake accent
like she's just looking at this.

252
00:14:57,100 --> 00:15:00,900
What.
But yeah you know I think the

253
00:15:00,900 --> 00:15:05,400
more that we learn about Layla
especially in this episode

254
00:15:05,400 --> 00:15:07,700
because she's like when she
finds the Scarab she's like,

255
00:15:07,900 --> 00:15:11,500
excuse me where are we supposed
to be doing this together and

256
00:15:11,500 --> 00:15:16,200
and now you've got stuff and
you're hiding from me and the

257
00:15:16,200 --> 00:15:18,400
fuck dude it's almost like she's
expecting that.

258
00:15:18,400 --> 00:15:23,300
He's double-crossing her but
he's not poor.

259
00:15:23,300 --> 00:15:25,500
Mark poor.
Stevie I don't know which one

260
00:15:25,500 --> 00:15:28,900
I'm sympathizing.
More with at this point because

261
00:15:28,900 --> 00:15:32,400
Stephen just his whole life has
been turned upside down.

262
00:15:32,900 --> 00:15:36,700
And now that we know about Layla
and Mark a little bit more is

263
00:15:36,700 --> 00:15:40,400
kind of like, okay, so Marcus
married.

264
00:15:40,900 --> 00:15:44,300
He's obviously been trying to
like push her away.

265
00:15:44,700 --> 00:15:47,600
Probably because of whatever it
is that he's doing for khonshu

266
00:15:47,600 --> 00:15:50,400
and of course she has no clue
but she starting to put this

267
00:15:50,400 --> 00:15:53,000
stuff together like.
Oh okay so you had this stuff

268
00:15:53,000 --> 00:15:56,600
you have the Scarab and you just
been not taking my calls and

269
00:15:56,800 --> 00:16:01,500
What the hell is going on?
He's like, I don't know.

270
00:16:02,700 --> 00:16:05,900
And on top of all that, it seems
like she has more chest more

271
00:16:05,900 --> 00:16:08,000
chemistry and connection with
Stephen at times.

272
00:16:08,000 --> 00:16:11,300
Then she does look Margaret
reading, reading reading,

273
00:16:11,300 --> 00:16:14,500
obscure fridge.
Poetry together like in unison,

274
00:16:14,500 --> 00:16:21,500
I'm like, What is funny, but but
the funny thing is, you know, he

275
00:16:21,500 --> 00:16:25,900
has the book on his shelf
because he's like is my favorite

276
00:16:25,900 --> 00:16:28,500
author, she's like no, it's
mine.

277
00:16:28,500 --> 00:16:35,100
So, obviously Steven has some,
maybe some memory of some of the

278
00:16:35,100 --> 00:16:37,800
stuff that Mark is done and
maybe just isn't conscious of it

279
00:16:37,808 --> 00:16:39,800
again.
This is only the second episode.

280
00:16:39,800 --> 00:16:45,900
So we don't exactly know how
those to, you know, interact

281
00:16:45,900 --> 00:16:48,000
with each other.
If they've interacted with each

282
00:16:48,000 --> 00:16:51,200
other, obviously they haven't
because Steven doesn't know who

283
00:16:51,200 --> 00:16:56,700
Mark is, he has no clue.
But Mark is obviously, he's

284
00:16:56,700 --> 00:17:00,000
obviously familiar with Stephen.
Yeah, okay.

285
00:17:00,000 --> 00:17:02,300
Okay.
At this point of watching this

286
00:17:02,300 --> 00:17:05,200
episode, this point when they
showed it, it reminded me of

287
00:17:05,200 --> 00:17:08,800
watching Daniel Jackson, trying
to impress us, Samantha, Carter,

288
00:17:08,800 --> 00:17:10,500
on Stargate.
This is what I got.

289
00:17:10,500 --> 00:17:14,300
I'm just saying that's the fuel.
I got Daniel Jackson trying to

290
00:17:14,308 --> 00:17:19,200
impress somebody Yeah, because
he's like, I, you know, the

291
00:17:19,200 --> 00:17:23,800
highlig lifx here and and, and,
and the French poet tree here

292
00:17:23,800 --> 00:17:26,700
and we have this here.
And and of course, he'll just

293
00:17:26,700 --> 00:17:29,200
the weirdest thing down Jackson.
This is Steven, right?

294
00:17:29,200 --> 00:17:32,800
Right?
Steven, he's trying to make

295
00:17:32,800 --> 00:17:36,300
sense of what's going on, but
the same time, he's obviously

296
00:17:36,300 --> 00:17:38,600
flirting with her.
He's obviously trying to, you

297
00:17:38,600 --> 00:17:41,800
know, impress her but the same
time she's like, well, I know

298
00:17:41,800 --> 00:17:46,300
you was my husband Marc Spector,
but you're saying your name is

299
00:17:46,500 --> 00:17:49,800
When Grant, and it's like,
you're looking at her and she's

300
00:17:49,800 --> 00:17:54,300
like, well, I kind of made me
like, like this person a little

301
00:17:54,300 --> 00:17:57,700
bit more but at the same time, I
got to believe what he says.

302
00:17:57,700 --> 00:18:00,300
So that I got whole Stargate
thing, that's what I got.

303
00:18:00,300 --> 00:18:05,500
Yes, it's kind of like having a
have it a symbiote and they're

304
00:18:05,500 --> 00:18:12,600
just like, going back and forth
between no, no, no, I'm talking

305
00:18:12,600 --> 00:18:14,800
more.
So I'm talking about Lori

306
00:18:14,800 --> 00:18:18,700
Stargate reference like Like,
like you have tilt in one minute

307
00:18:18,700 --> 00:18:21,600
and then you have the gold.
And, and another is right kind

308
00:18:21,600 --> 00:18:23,600
of laugh.
And he's got the thing with him

309
00:18:23,600 --> 00:18:25,700
being the John fund, and then he
flips.

310
00:18:25,700 --> 00:18:28,100
And remember, when remember,
when he would go out in the real

311
00:18:28,100 --> 00:18:30,700
world, he beat Mari with the
hatch, you know?

312
00:18:33,300 --> 00:18:37,400
Okay, people I'm gonna do a lot
of Stargate during Moon night.

313
00:18:37,400 --> 00:18:40,800
He's not now, I'm clicking on
all cylinders here, but yeah,

314
00:18:40,800 --> 00:18:42,800
no, it was, yeah, that's what it
is.

315
00:18:42,800 --> 00:18:47,100
But see now, I was watching this
with Mark and I right now, on my

316
00:18:47,100 --> 00:18:49,900
screen, you have the whole
storage locker think.

317
00:18:50,100 --> 00:18:54,000
And just the way they shot that
with the free stop and it was,

318
00:18:54,000 --> 00:18:56,800
it was beautiful.
And I said, I haven't seen the

319
00:18:56,800 --> 00:18:59,700
other three episodes because
we're stacking, you know, to

320
00:18:59,700 --> 00:19:03,300
watch them on the weekends but
this episode Sleep.

321
00:19:03,400 --> 00:19:06,000
Probably the best thing that
I've seen from Disney since

322
00:19:06,000 --> 00:19:09,400
Falcon anywhere Soldier.
I mean, I enjoyed this so much,

323
00:19:09,400 --> 00:19:12,600
it was so much fun and in that
scene that she's talking about

324
00:19:12,600 --> 00:19:16,200
like in when he's in the hallway
and they're like, did there to

325
00:19:16,200 --> 00:19:18,300
hitting the lights the lights go
off, right?

326
00:19:18,300 --> 00:19:20,800
And come back on using khonshu
didn't cook.

327
00:19:20,800 --> 00:19:22,400
The Devil comes out and he's not
there.

328
00:19:22,800 --> 00:19:26,700
It's like they're ramping up
like this is for Disney plus

329
00:19:26,800 --> 00:19:30,400
like yes.
Is some heavy like yo, that's

330
00:19:30,400 --> 00:19:34,000
some scary shit like I
understand.

331
00:19:34,000 --> 00:19:37,000
See, I think, I think this was
kind of, they're playing when

332
00:19:37,000 --> 00:19:39,800
they when they were bringing
over to think the social

333
00:19:39,800 --> 00:19:43,300
Netflix, like Daredevil and all
that and they said that you had

334
00:19:43,300 --> 00:19:46,800
to switch to having saying that
you're over 18 to be able to

335
00:19:46,800 --> 00:19:49,600
watch certain things or they
would like put them somewhere

336
00:19:49,600 --> 00:19:51,100
else where kids can't get to
him.

337
00:19:51,100 --> 00:19:52,300
Hmm.
Well, I think they're probably

338
00:19:52,300 --> 00:19:54,500
doing that with this to God.
I think this person they saw

339
00:19:54,500 --> 00:19:57,700
this coming, they're like, oh
yeah, we should probably do

340
00:19:57,700 --> 00:20:00,600
something because if you're not
going to get letters from people

341
00:20:00,600 --> 00:20:04,000
saying their 8 year olds are
seeing Seeing Crow skulls in

342
00:20:04,000 --> 00:20:07,900
their beds and stuff like that's
just not yeah no you're

343
00:20:07,900 --> 00:20:10,200
completely right?
Because you take them the

344
00:20:10,200 --> 00:20:14,600
Netflix, Marvel stuff, you know,
as a whole, but if my favorite

345
00:20:14,600 --> 00:20:17,500
one, of course, I've told you is
Defenders because the Defenders

346
00:20:17,500 --> 00:20:21,300
is so grown up, right?
Or even the stuff with Hogarth,

347
00:20:21,300 --> 00:20:24,100
you know, Jerry Carrie-Anne Moss
in its characters and her thing,

348
00:20:24,400 --> 00:20:28,600
it's so adult that when you you
signed in that day it was like I

349
00:20:28,600 --> 00:20:31,000
had to go through like you said
all the things that I Mark and I

350
00:20:31,008 --> 00:20:32,100
had to do it for his account
too.

351
00:20:32,700 --> 00:20:36,800
And it's like, wow Disney is
stepping up, which makes me

352
00:20:37,300 --> 00:20:41,000
hopeful for the rest of this
Plus for Kenobi.

353
00:20:41,100 --> 00:20:44,900
Plus She-Hulk because, you know,
She-Hulk is going to go there.

354
00:20:45,400 --> 00:20:49,100
I mean Bills going to be zero if
it's like the Like Comics like

355
00:20:49,100 --> 00:20:54,900
oh, oh that's swell.
We'll get into her displaying

356
00:20:54,900 --> 00:20:58,100
partition that off.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but

357
00:20:58,200 --> 00:21:00,900
yeah, I agree.
It would full horror like, I was

358
00:21:00,900 --> 00:21:05,100
like, like, like the whole day,
It was like intense like him

359
00:21:05,100 --> 00:21:08,600
running and then I loved like
she said we did a freeze frame.

360
00:21:08,800 --> 00:21:10,700
He was like no!
It's like that.

361
00:21:10,900 --> 00:21:14,300
Let me tell you, construe scares
me.

362
00:21:15,500 --> 00:21:19,300
And the funny thing is I don't
think he's particularly scary as

363
00:21:19,300 --> 00:21:25,300
a god person character.
Like I feel like he talks more

364
00:21:25,300 --> 00:21:32,400
shit than anything and he's not
particularly like Foreboding in

365
00:21:32,400 --> 00:21:36,400
that sense but it's just
something about that that mask

366
00:21:36,400 --> 00:21:40,800
and I think it's because I'm a
I'm sure as kids we've all seen

367
00:21:40,800 --> 00:21:43,800
like dead birds on the street
whatever.

368
00:21:43,900 --> 00:21:47,300
But like when I was a kid, we
used to always find them like we

369
00:21:47,300 --> 00:21:51,000
had lots of trees in our area
nest and so you will find baby

370
00:21:51,000 --> 00:21:54,900
birds like out of their nest
which I just only recently found

371
00:21:54,900 --> 00:21:59,400
out that mother birds will
sometimes kill their babies.

372
00:21:59,400 --> 00:22:02,700
And by just, Breaking their
necks and tossing them over

373
00:22:02,700 --> 00:22:06,900
Nest, which I think is very
disturbing but we will see those

374
00:22:07,400 --> 00:22:09,800
babies kind of decompose after
time.

375
00:22:09,800 --> 00:22:14,700
And I was just like, why are you
reminding me of creepy things

376
00:22:14,700 --> 00:22:18,000
for my childhood, this is just
not cool.

377
00:22:18,000 --> 00:22:21,000
Like I sit there and I look at
him and I'm just kind of like I

378
00:22:21,000 --> 00:22:25,800
feel like a seven-year-old just
kind of like no, I don't want to

379
00:22:25,800 --> 00:22:28,000
do this.
I mean, I understand how Steven

380
00:22:28,000 --> 00:22:32,400
feels because if I was single
Nick, like he doesn't have a

381
00:22:32,400 --> 00:22:33,700
neck.
So it's just so the skull just

382
00:22:33,700 --> 00:22:37,200
kind of Twirls around on their
shoulders, like, just hovers

383
00:22:37,200 --> 00:22:41,300
like turns and it's like and,
and his attitude doesn't really

384
00:22:41,300 --> 00:22:43,900
match.
She's like this, the snarky old

385
00:22:43,900 --> 00:22:57,400
man scary in there.
So it looks like it's kind of

386
00:22:57,400 --> 00:23:00,200
like it's kind of like looking
at Deadpool.

387
00:23:00,200 --> 00:23:03,700
Like Deadpool has on this suit.
He's got the, he's got the

388
00:23:03,700 --> 00:23:07,400
katanas and he's just like, you
know, when you see them walking

389
00:23:07,400 --> 00:23:11,300
around and fighting he looks
like totally badass and you

390
00:23:11,308 --> 00:23:14,100
don't want to fuck with him and
then he opens his mouth and it's

391
00:23:14,100 --> 00:23:19,000
just like, bro.
This is what we get, that's hot.

392
00:23:19,000 --> 00:23:20,800
That's kind of how I feel with
constant.

393
00:23:21,400 --> 00:23:26,700
Khonshu is like all talk, no,
no, no scary, no nothing.

394
00:23:27,200 --> 00:23:33,000
You know who else is like that?
Venom Remove his you say we

395
00:23:33,000 --> 00:23:38,900
weren't gonna talk about Venom
just say that in the matter of

396
00:23:38,908 --> 00:23:42,700
fact I think I said that but I
mean I mean it's valid.

397
00:23:42,700 --> 00:23:45,300
I mean just like he bites, he
bites of dudes, head off and

398
00:23:45,300 --> 00:23:48,600
then you're like, you don't take
him seriously after that know,

399
00:23:48,700 --> 00:23:51,600
especially when he Blends at you
with those huge teeth.

400
00:23:52,300 --> 00:23:55,500
Yeah.
I mean he okay, yeah, we're not

401
00:23:55,500 --> 00:23:57,600
going to talk about Ben.
That's a whole other joke.

402
00:23:57,900 --> 00:24:00,900
No other show.
But I don't talk about About

403
00:24:00,900 --> 00:24:03,500
this then.
No, no, no.

404
00:24:03,800 --> 00:24:07,800
I wasn't going to go there.
No, you, but you knew Mike was

405
00:24:08,000 --> 00:24:10,800
so clear.
Come on is get out of my way.

406
00:24:12,000 --> 00:24:15,300
So, okay, but talking about the
storage locker.

407
00:24:15,300 --> 00:24:19,800
So, of course, Steven goes to
the storage locker, you know, he

408
00:24:19,800 --> 00:24:22,900
looks at all of these different
places and then he finally gets

409
00:24:22,900 --> 00:24:28,200
to one of the franchise has been
like, yeah, I know you coming

410
00:24:28,200 --> 00:24:31,600
here every such and he was like,
oh my Really I do.

411
00:24:32,000 --> 00:24:35,200
And the guys look at him, like,
do you stand in front of me with

412
00:24:35,200 --> 00:24:40,400
the key, like, what's going on?
So, it's really interesting

413
00:24:40,400 --> 00:24:42,500
looking at how other people are
reacting to him.

414
00:24:42,500 --> 00:24:45,300
Because, of course, Steven
doesn't know about a lot of the

415
00:24:45,300 --> 00:24:47,600
stuff that Mark does.
So, like, Steven ends up in

416
00:24:47,600 --> 00:24:49,700
places and they're like, yeah,
you've been here before we've

417
00:24:49,700 --> 00:24:51,700
seen you before, like, at the
pet store.

418
00:24:51,900 --> 00:24:58,700
He's just like um no and they're
like, um, yes, like here, we can

419
00:24:58,700 --> 00:25:06,000
show, you know.
But him finding marks duffel bag

420
00:25:06,000 --> 00:25:09,600
like first of all it always
trips me out whenever you see

421
00:25:09,600 --> 00:25:13,300
this in a TV show but who the
hell is actually going to stay

422
00:25:13,300 --> 00:25:16,300
asleep in a storage locker,
those things?

423
00:25:16,300 --> 00:25:18,700
Get hot.
I know that they say that their

424
00:25:18,700 --> 00:25:21,000
climate control, I've been in
one.

425
00:25:21,000 --> 00:25:23,100
Those things are not climate
control.

426
00:25:23,100 --> 00:25:28,100
Not in that sense, you and he's
got the, the little cot, the

427
00:25:28,100 --> 00:25:30,500
military cop.
He's got his back.

428
00:25:30,600 --> 00:25:35,200
Bag and it's got like all of
this money, all of these

429
00:25:35,200 --> 00:25:40,300
passports and Steve is just
looking like, hey, is that a

430
00:25:40,300 --> 00:25:43,500
gun?
Is that a pet who is this?

431
00:25:44,100 --> 00:25:46,500
And then, of course, you start
hearing Mark, talking to him.

432
00:25:46,700 --> 00:25:48,700
And this becomes a really
interesting conversation,

433
00:25:48,700 --> 00:25:51,400
because it's like Marcus finally
explaining to him.

434
00:25:51,900 --> 00:25:55,400
Yeah.
So this is how this works.

435
00:25:56,700 --> 00:26:00,500
I work for Toms shoe, or we work
for khonshu, I guess you can say

436
00:26:01,100 --> 00:26:04,100
but yeah, you're not supposed to
be interfering, you're not

437
00:26:04,100 --> 00:26:07,500
supposed to be here.
Steve is like This is my body.

438
00:26:07,500 --> 00:26:13,300
This is my life.
I just, I don't know, but I feel

439
00:26:13,300 --> 00:26:17,400
like, I feel like he's adjusting
pretty well for someone who just

440
00:26:17,400 --> 00:26:19,800
found out that he's not the only
person living in his head.

441
00:26:20,400 --> 00:26:24,300
Well, he's had other people.
I think all along side note in

442
00:26:24,300 --> 00:26:28,500
the Dresden Files in, turncoat.
The book turncoat dresden's.

443
00:26:29,000 --> 00:26:32,600
Go to place was a storage locker
and he had his go back and

444
00:26:32,600 --> 00:26:36,000
everything there.
So it is a Trope in science

445
00:26:36,000 --> 00:26:39,000
fiction.
I know urban fantasy to have the

446
00:26:39,000 --> 00:26:41,500
storage locker.
Be your Go Oh to play.

447
00:26:41,500 --> 00:26:44,600
So seeing that wasn't as weird
as you would think it's pretty

448
00:26:44,600 --> 00:26:48,100
calm know and I and I understand
that I mean John Winchester had

449
00:26:48,100 --> 00:26:51,800
a whole storage locker full of
Supernatural artifacts.

450
00:26:51,800 --> 00:26:53,800
So right?
I get that.

451
00:26:54,000 --> 00:27:00,200
It's just so weird to me like
when it comes to but I guess

452
00:27:00,200 --> 00:27:02,800
it's a good hiding place because
nobody's been think to look for

453
00:27:02,800 --> 00:27:04,800
a person in a storage locker,
right?

454
00:27:04,800 --> 00:27:07,300
Which is, which is what Dresden
did when they had the whole

455
00:27:07,300 --> 00:27:08,800
thing with what happened in the
book.

456
00:27:08,800 --> 00:27:12,800
But the thing is, does that
There are, I know a few people

457
00:27:13,400 --> 00:27:18,100
who actually try to do it, but
they don't let you do that

458
00:27:18,100 --> 00:27:20,300
because you check the storage
lockers out here in California.

459
00:27:20,500 --> 00:27:23,600
But I know a few people who if
they could get away with it,

460
00:27:23,600 --> 00:27:27,000
would actually live in a storage
locker with all the stuff

461
00:27:27,000 --> 00:27:29,800
because they're Preppers.
And let's go time.

462
00:27:30,200 --> 00:27:32,200
It's not just the people who are
doing that right now.

463
00:27:32,200 --> 00:27:34,500
Like really living in it.
Yeah.

464
00:27:34,600 --> 00:27:37,000
Like people do that all the time
around here.

465
00:27:37,300 --> 00:27:39,600
They get a big storage locker.
They just like setup.

466
00:27:39,700 --> 00:27:43,700
It's a Trust me, it's a YouTube
rabbit hole that you'll be down

467
00:27:43,700 --> 00:27:47,900
for like two hours now.
Why watching people set up beds

468
00:27:47,900 --> 00:27:51,700
kitchens and everything in like
a storage locker?

469
00:27:51,700 --> 00:27:54,100
That's no bigger.
That's like a little bit bigger

470
00:27:54,100 --> 00:27:56,700
than like a like a double
closet.

471
00:27:56,700 --> 00:27:59,300
How do you set up a kitchen in a
storage locker?

472
00:28:00,100 --> 00:28:04,500
Well, as someone who's very to a
prepper, it's possible since it

473
00:28:07,500 --> 00:28:10,400
gets you a system to get water
to have water.

474
00:28:10,700 --> 00:28:12,500
So, yep.
You can do the water pipe.

475
00:28:12,500 --> 00:28:14,100
You can get the whole thing.
Yeah, you can do it.

476
00:28:14,200 --> 00:28:16,600
You can, you can conceivably set
you up.

477
00:28:16,600 --> 00:28:20,500
Set yourself up with a kitchen
in about an hour.

478
00:28:20,500 --> 00:28:22,000
Like I said, I'm married to a
prepper.

479
00:28:22,200 --> 00:28:24,900
We have a canoe in our living
room in a box.

480
00:28:24,900 --> 00:28:26,200
We have a two person could do
so.

481
00:28:26,200 --> 00:28:30,000
Yeah, I am.
I not surprised.

482
00:28:30,100 --> 00:28:32,200
I bet you.
I bet you guys have parachutes

483
00:28:32,200 --> 00:28:35,300
to don't, you don't give him any
ideas.

484
00:28:35,700 --> 00:28:39,400
Is he listening smart.
Don't know, that, ignore that.

485
00:28:39,400 --> 00:28:40,300
Mark, get it.
Get it.

486
00:28:40,500 --> 00:28:43,000
Couple pair of shoes, just in
case did San Andreas fault Falls

487
00:28:43,000 --> 00:28:46,900
in you going to need parachutes.
Look, I was told that I can't

488
00:28:46,900 --> 00:28:49,300
get to Reno because the fault
lines.

489
00:28:49,300 --> 00:28:50,600
Oh, I'm already upset about
that.

490
00:28:50,600 --> 00:28:53,000
But no conceivably, you could do
that.

491
00:28:53,000 --> 00:28:56,000
But to the other thing, with
this whole thing with conch, you

492
00:28:56,300 --> 00:29:00,400
and him with a split personality
thing is that I truly believe

493
00:29:00,500 --> 00:29:02,200
that.
And I don't know, because I

494
00:29:02,208 --> 00:29:04,800
haven't seen, there's like three
episodes I haven't seen yet.

495
00:29:05,900 --> 00:29:09,400
I almost want to say that even
though Stephen Grant isn't the

496
00:29:09,400 --> 00:29:12,500
base personnel.
I get a feeling that they might

497
00:29:12,500 --> 00:29:15,300
change it at the end of the
series, and actually make

498
00:29:15,300 --> 00:29:19,100
Stephen the base, and make Mark
the secondary because the comic

499
00:29:19,100 --> 00:29:22,600
books it's Mark.
So, I don't know again, I

500
00:29:22,608 --> 00:29:25,200
haven't seen the three, but, ya
know, that whole scene with the

501
00:29:25,200 --> 00:29:27,400
store or soccer fascinating
stuff.

502
00:29:27,600 --> 00:29:31,100
There are also situations where
it would behoove them to have.

503
00:29:31,100 --> 00:29:34,300
Steven be the main, like, if
they's like because because of

504
00:29:34,308 --> 00:29:37,500
his vast knowledge of Egyptian
more like when they were in

505
00:29:37,500 --> 00:29:40,300
Egypt, there probably is
probably better to have him out.

506
00:29:40,400 --> 00:29:45,200
Out then then they have Mark out
and also as far as far as the

507
00:29:45,200 --> 00:29:48,400
storage locker, I'm actually
impressed that they have walls

508
00:29:48,400 --> 00:29:52,900
that are buff to a mirror shine
because I've as many many

509
00:29:52,900 --> 00:29:56,500
storage lockers, as I've had the
privilege or around privilege of

510
00:29:56,500 --> 00:30:00,500
having being part of, I've never
seen mirror buffed walls.

511
00:30:00,500 --> 00:30:03,400
In those bad boys, true?
Yeah.

512
00:30:03,500 --> 00:30:06,500
Yeah.
They that that's a stat design

513
00:30:06,500 --> 00:30:08,300
choice because yeah, they're
usually grungy.

514
00:30:08,300 --> 00:30:10,300
Yeah, because I guess I'm Mark
had to talk some way.

515
00:30:10,500 --> 00:30:15,500
So so, so I'm not a person that
that freeze frames, anything

516
00:30:15,500 --> 00:30:21,700
lies, whatever.
Whatever it is, I was seriously,

517
00:30:21,700 --> 00:30:25,900
I did scan, the QR code on the
Locker number and it takes you

518
00:30:25,900 --> 00:30:28,400
to the Marvel website.
It's where, will the nitrite

519
00:30:28,400 --> 00:30:30,500
comment?
Oh yeah, yeah, they need, they

520
00:30:30,500 --> 00:30:32,800
promote that the world find out.
Yeah, that was actually kind of

521
00:30:32,800 --> 00:30:36,200
cool.
I think they did that in the

522
00:30:36,200 --> 00:30:39,300
first episode as well.
I think there was a QR code

523
00:30:39,300 --> 00:30:43,500
somewhere in the museum.
And yeah see that is what they

524
00:30:44,200 --> 00:30:46,900
do that.
That is very smart and werewolf

525
00:30:46,900 --> 00:30:50,100
by night is part of the midnight
Sons again.

526
00:30:50,400 --> 00:30:53,700
Yes, right there.
See, there's this is what

527
00:30:53,700 --> 00:30:55,300
they're doing.
They're set me up for a fall

528
00:30:55,300 --> 00:30:57,100
again.
This is this is this is why I'm

529
00:30:57,100 --> 00:30:59,900
listening to me one division.
This is one division all over

530
00:30:59,900 --> 00:31:03,100
again, for setting me up and I'm
gonna fall for it because I've

531
00:31:03,100 --> 00:31:06,200
already fallen for it.
I'm already looking for like go

532
00:31:06,400 --> 00:31:08,300
looking for Ghost Riders in the
background.

533
00:31:08,300 --> 00:31:10,300
Like I said, that Danny, that
John-Boy.

534
00:31:10,500 --> 00:31:14,800
If serves Chopper like, I'm
already looking the send me a

535
00:31:14,800 --> 00:31:16,900
football.
Biggest disappointment was

536
00:31:16,900 --> 00:31:18,000
agents of s.h.i.e.l.d. with
that.

537
00:31:18,000 --> 00:31:20,300
One year.
We already talked about this

538
00:31:20,300 --> 00:31:22,100
Lorry.
We are not gonna talk about

539
00:31:22,100 --> 00:31:23,700
Robby.
Ray has right now.

540
00:31:23,800 --> 00:31:26,700
All right.
So so so Mike.

541
00:31:26,700 --> 00:31:29,500
Remind me what blade is part of?
That's right.

542
00:31:29,500 --> 00:31:31,700
I can't remember.
Yes, blade is Blaze part of been

543
00:31:31,700 --> 00:31:32,600
my son's?
Yes.

544
00:31:33,000 --> 00:31:36,200
So, would it be cool if Marciano
Marcy are much Rob?

545
00:31:36,700 --> 00:31:45,400
Yeah, give it to me, Ali.
Ursula anyway, Marshall on her.

546
00:31:47,100 --> 00:31:55,900
Give it to me.
Ma her la la, la, that would be

547
00:31:55,900 --> 00:31:59,300
cool.
I'm expecting it.

548
00:31:59,800 --> 00:32:04,300
Really, I want to see him in him
in Black night at the end just

549
00:32:10,800 --> 00:32:12,000
Yeah.
Yeah.

550
00:32:12,000 --> 00:32:15,400
Like maybe like like oh boy at
the end of middle of Battlestar

551
00:32:15,400 --> 00:32:19,100
Galactica when they're all after
the Cylon attack and he looks at

552
00:32:19,100 --> 00:32:21,300
everyone in room he goes we need
to talk and they all fall into

553
00:32:21,300 --> 00:32:24,900
the room just like that.
Yes, I feel about look like yes.

554
00:32:24,900 --> 00:32:26,900
I'm yeah.
Yeah, they'll be fire though.

555
00:32:26,900 --> 00:32:30,200
I would lose my, my Collective
buying whatever little brain

556
00:32:30,200 --> 00:32:31,300
cells.
I have left.

557
00:32:31,300 --> 00:32:34,500
If that happens like for real.
That would be awesome.

558
00:32:35,400 --> 00:32:40,000
But yeah, I think that honestly
believe that there's no, I just

559
00:32:40,000 --> 00:32:42,800
feel it.
I'm like, they have to, like, my

560
00:32:42,800 --> 00:32:44,500
no.
But then I thought they'd have

561
00:32:44,500 --> 00:32:47,000
to show Mephisto to and you know
what?

562
00:32:47,000 --> 00:32:48,500
Yes, we're not going to talk
about that.

563
00:32:48,500 --> 00:32:50,500
I brought up a fist of reference
today.

564
00:32:50,500 --> 00:32:53,000
And one of our listeners, one of
our lives.

565
00:32:53,200 --> 00:32:54,800
Sanders.
Carlos, this was on Twitter, he

566
00:32:54,800 --> 00:32:56,800
was like, okay I'm done with
this conversation.

567
00:32:57,300 --> 00:32:59,400
Wait, I was, you miss him a
fist?

568
00:32:59,400 --> 00:33:02,700
I thought I felt something in my
on the back of my ear like

569
00:33:02,700 --> 00:33:04,500
someone mentioning them Fizzles
like what?

570
00:33:04,500 --> 00:33:07,900
For so, we're hmmm.
Confirmed, confirmed.

571
00:33:08,700 --> 00:33:11,500
Yeah, no.
Not at all.

572
00:33:12,100 --> 00:33:17,700
Not at all.
But I noticed that after, after

573
00:33:17,700 --> 00:33:21,000
you mention it, when we talked
about the first episode, might I

574
00:33:21,000 --> 00:33:24,400
started seeing the Midnight Sun.
Stuff going around on the

575
00:33:24,400 --> 00:33:28,900
internet, like different
different writers bloggers.

576
00:33:29,300 --> 00:33:33,000
I saw it on Twitter.
I was like, okay, I was like,

577
00:33:33,000 --> 00:33:35,800
I'm not going to fall down that
rabbit hole because that's what

578
00:33:35,800 --> 00:33:39,300
we did with one Division and
look where it got us like.

579
00:33:39,400 --> 00:33:42,300
So our catchphrases come from
the whole One Division thing

580
00:33:42,300 --> 00:33:44,800
now, because of how bad we got
stung.

581
00:33:44,800 --> 00:33:48,700
So it's Hanukkah, what's this?
You know what?

582
00:33:48,700 --> 00:33:52,400
I'm not, it's me falling down
the rabbit hole already going.

583
00:33:52,400 --> 00:33:57,000
No no, no, I'll do it.
My don't do it, don't do it.

584
00:33:57,500 --> 00:34:00,900
Why I'm falling.
Yeah.

585
00:34:01,000 --> 00:34:06,200
But that that whole eye and the
thing is like, for all that Mark

586
00:34:06,200 --> 00:34:08,500
told him.
I feel like he could have told

587
00:34:08,500 --> 00:34:11,500
there's still a whole lot of
stuff that he didn't tell him.

588
00:34:11,500 --> 00:34:14,600
Of course, like again, we're
only episode 2.

589
00:34:15,300 --> 00:34:16,500
Yeah.
Is that what you could tell

590
00:34:16,500 --> 00:34:18,500
like, you could tell he was he
was Measuring?

591
00:34:18,500 --> 00:34:21,500
What he could tell him because
he was as you like, are you sure

592
00:34:21,500 --> 00:34:23,300
you want to?
You sure you want to know, he's

593
00:34:23,300 --> 00:34:24,600
like, yeah, tell me.
Tell me.

594
00:34:24,600 --> 00:34:28,300
He's like, all right, he's going
through his mind.

595
00:34:28,300 --> 00:34:30,400
Like, what can I tell him?
I gotta tell him something, so

596
00:34:30,400 --> 00:34:32,600
that he'll chill the fuck out.
Mmm.

597
00:34:32,699 --> 00:34:36,300
It's like, yeah.
But I mean, I Gotta Give it to

598
00:34:36,500 --> 00:34:38,400
give it to I'm Stephen because
he had the backbone.

599
00:34:38,400 --> 00:34:40,100
He was like, you want me to lay
down?

600
00:34:40,300 --> 00:34:42,500
I'm not laying down.
I'm gonna go, I'm taking this to

601
00:34:42,500 --> 00:34:44,300
the proper authorities to I'm
getting some drugs.

602
00:34:44,300 --> 00:34:45,900
I'm going to go to the, I lay
down there.

603
00:34:47,400 --> 00:34:52,100
Let's give him props for looking
out for his mental health.

604
00:34:52,400 --> 00:34:55,400
See, this is a, that's a healthy
mental attitudes are for him to

605
00:34:55,400 --> 00:34:58,000
say, I think I'm going crazy.
I'm going to the authorities,

606
00:34:58,000 --> 00:34:59,700
I'm turning myself in.
Give me medicine.

607
00:34:59,700 --> 00:35:01,300
Let me lay down.
This is true.

608
00:35:01,300 --> 00:35:05,800
It's good.
Mental health, but but, hey, you

609
00:35:05,800 --> 00:35:10,800
already have had a jackal come
after you when you've already

610
00:35:10,800 --> 00:35:14,400
met this guy that you thought
was only in your dreams and he

611
00:35:14,400 --> 00:35:19,000
shows up at your job as It's
enough for you to be like okay

612
00:35:19,000 --> 00:35:23,000
you know what, that's more than
coincidental and then of course,

613
00:35:23,100 --> 00:35:26,600
as he and Leila are at his
apartment, he gets a knock on

614
00:35:26,600 --> 00:35:32,500
the door from the police and
he's like, um, yeah, I know you

615
00:35:32,500 --> 00:35:35,900
guys are here about this the
damage at the Museum I've

616
00:35:35,900 --> 00:35:38,700
already been fired.
They've already, it's already

617
00:35:38,700 --> 00:35:41,500
been taken care of and when they
walk in, they start asking him

618
00:35:41,500 --> 00:35:44,400
questions.
I was like these are not like

619
00:35:44,400 --> 00:35:46,000
real police.
Don't know.

620
00:35:47,200 --> 00:35:49,900
Take the tea she asked, could
they come in?

621
00:35:49,900 --> 00:35:51,200
And he was like, well, I don't
think so.

622
00:35:51,200 --> 00:35:54,600
Then the one, then the one guy
busted, he's like, thank you.

623
00:35:54,900 --> 00:35:57,200
It's like, I was like, oh dang.
I don't know.

624
00:35:57,200 --> 00:36:02,300
Steven was black that sucks
before before we leave.

625
00:36:02,500 --> 00:36:07,500
So before we leave the storage
facility and talk about Oscar

626
00:36:07,500 --> 00:36:10,600
Isaac and how well he acted with
himself.

627
00:36:10,600 --> 00:36:15,500
And it seemed man.
Listen, he's brilliant.

628
00:36:15,500 --> 00:36:17,000
I've mentioned this in the
first.

629
00:36:17,100 --> 00:36:21,400
Episode watching this man in
this role is like what it is.

630
00:36:21,700 --> 00:36:24,900
We're being taught a Master
Class, Real.

631
00:36:25,600 --> 00:36:28,100
He's become, he's fastly.
Becoming my favorite actor like

632
00:36:28,100 --> 00:36:30,600
I'll watch anything he's in now
like, for real.

633
00:36:30,600 --> 00:36:33,900
I'll literally watch whatever.
He's in, is making me mad.

634
00:36:33,900 --> 00:36:35,300
It made me kind of mad.
I don't know.

635
00:36:35,300 --> 00:36:37,900
I might not watch the next dude
because he's not, he might not

636
00:36:37,900 --> 00:36:40,200
be in it.
Now, I'm gonna be like, no, I

637
00:36:40,207 --> 00:36:43,900
don't think I can watch it if
Oscar is not in it but he is.

638
00:36:43,900 --> 00:36:46,900
Yeah, line like it lucky and
said he's not yeah.

639
00:36:47,200 --> 00:36:48,900
And I am line, but that's beside
the point.

640
00:36:48,900 --> 00:36:52,800
That's Ambiance zebra.
Oscar Isaac in this series has

641
00:36:52,800 --> 00:36:57,100
setting the bar way up here for
all the next series.

642
00:36:57,300 --> 00:36:59,400
Like I don't think you can't
really top it.

643
00:36:59,400 --> 00:37:02,900
I don't see how you can top his
performance here because it's

644
00:37:02,900 --> 00:37:07,900
like the axes that he takes the
body language that he uses the

645
00:37:08,300 --> 00:37:13,000
gestures that he uses is, like
the, even the eye movement, like

646
00:37:13,000 --> 00:37:17,000
you could tell like he like
Steve, it looks different like

647
00:37:17,100 --> 00:37:20,200
He always has like a eyebrows
always, always always up here

648
00:37:20,200 --> 00:37:23,000
when he's mark his eyebrows were
down and he serious.

649
00:37:23,300 --> 00:37:29,300
It's like he he he is acting
with his whole entire body.

650
00:37:29,700 --> 00:37:34,700
And it's like, if he doesn't
win, if he doesn't win all the

651
00:37:34,700 --> 00:37:38,300
awards than I'm like, I mean,
he's basically the subsonic of

652
00:37:38,300 --> 00:37:40,600
acting this year.
It's like, he needs to use his

653
00:37:40,600 --> 00:37:42,600
sweep.
Everything he's nominated for

654
00:37:42,900 --> 00:37:46,100
like all of that comparison,
both of folks.

655
00:37:47,100 --> 00:37:49,800
Look when he wears, is he gonna
get up from the table?

656
00:37:49,800 --> 00:37:52,100
Like, Silk Sonic.
That's going to be a different

657
00:37:52,100 --> 00:37:53,400
personality.
Right?

658
00:37:53,900 --> 00:37:55,800
Exactly.
So he's gonna, he's gonna get up

659
00:37:55,800 --> 00:37:58,700
like, oh, man, maybe he'll call
that one Bruno.

660
00:37:59,100 --> 00:38:03,100
You call that one Anderson be
like, no, he's even a Mark or

661
00:38:03,100 --> 00:38:06,700
Steve going to go up to the
stage and slap him when he never

662
00:38:06,700 --> 00:38:11,000
mind exists.
No, I know where you're getting

663
00:38:11,000 --> 00:38:12,200
ahead of know where you're
going.

664
00:38:15,500 --> 00:38:16,900
I like that.
I like that.

665
00:38:17,500 --> 00:38:20,400
But yeah, I'm yeah he's he is
doing the Hughes.

666
00:38:20,400 --> 00:38:23,000
This is some of the best acting
I've seen in a while.

667
00:38:23,000 --> 00:38:26,900
Like he's crazy, he's killing
it, he's so good, so good.

668
00:38:26,900 --> 00:38:31,500
And I like it because you get to
see more of him like I seen him

669
00:38:31,500 --> 00:38:36,200
and other things, of course, you
know, Star Wars doing, like you

670
00:38:36,200 --> 00:38:42,500
said, just and I'm thinking just
on the like, fantasy genre

671
00:38:42,500 --> 00:38:47,400
scope, you know, we've seen him
in those characters and Was

672
00:38:47,400 --> 00:38:51,700
fairly prominent in Star Wars,
but I still feel like we didn't

673
00:38:51,700 --> 00:38:57,400
really get to see as much of him
as we're seeing now, or maybe

674
00:38:57,400 --> 00:39:00,500
it's just that because he's
playing a character that

675
00:39:01,000 --> 00:39:03,800
basically has another person
living inside of him.

676
00:39:03,800 --> 00:39:06,900
Like, I don't know what kind of
prep he did for this role but

677
00:39:06,900 --> 00:39:09,900
it's almost like he read for two
different parts and just

678
00:39:09,900 --> 00:39:12,800
decided, okay, I'm gonna put
them together and I'm going to

679
00:39:12,800 --> 00:39:15,500
put use them in the same show
and it's just that at some

680
00:39:15,500 --> 00:39:16,900
points.
I'll be this person.

681
00:39:17,100 --> 00:39:20,600
And at some purse, I'll be this
person and they're like, Stephen

682
00:39:20,600 --> 00:39:25,100
is on one end of the spectrum.
And Mark is all the way over

683
00:39:25,100 --> 00:39:28,700
here on the other.
See, why did you have to mention

684
00:39:28,700 --> 00:39:33,100
his role as Poe Dameron?
I'm going to resist the urge and

685
00:39:33,100 --> 00:39:37,100
of going down a rabbit hole
about that, and I'm just gonna

686
00:39:37,100 --> 00:39:41,800
ignore that whole situation
especially with him and Finn.

687
00:39:42,500 --> 00:39:44,400
Hello, heavy.
Do you mean you mean him and

688
00:39:44,400 --> 00:39:46,000
Finn being lovers?
Yes, you should tell them.

689
00:39:46,100 --> 00:39:46,900
I'm gonna stop.
Yes.

690
00:39:47,100 --> 00:39:50,300
A whole other conversation with
someone at least.

691
00:39:50,300 --> 00:39:52,300
Let's see.
I think, I think also, I think

692
00:39:52,300 --> 00:39:57,800
that he, that he is really
trying to exercise the image of

693
00:39:57,800 --> 00:40:00,900
him being Apocalypse in the that
damn, it makes me a movie.

694
00:40:03,100 --> 00:40:06,700
He'd be, the was good job, and
it's easy to know that it's not

695
00:40:06,700 --> 00:40:09,000
him.
I completely forgot that it was

696
00:40:09,000 --> 00:40:13,000
him until people started posting
the memes and I was like, it's

697
00:40:13,000 --> 00:40:16,000
pretend, he's not here.
It's like wait, that wasn't him

698
00:40:16,600 --> 00:40:18,800
even Oscar.
Isaac is pretending that wasn't

699
00:40:18,800 --> 00:40:20,600
him.
That was terrible.

700
00:40:20,700 --> 00:40:22,800
That was the worst thing they
could ever dish it.

701
00:40:22,800 --> 00:40:25,300
That what they did was Sonic
when they, when they, when they

702
00:40:25,300 --> 00:40:27,700
had the first Sonic out that
looks scary as hell.

703
00:40:27,700 --> 00:40:30,800
With those little beady eyes and
they fixed it and made the eyes,

704
00:40:30,800 --> 00:40:32,800
the size.
They were supposed to be, that's

705
00:40:32,800 --> 00:40:34,600
what they should have done.
When him and took those damn

706
00:40:34,600 --> 00:40:37,400
that damn those damn shoulder
pads shoulder pad collar that he

707
00:40:37,400 --> 00:40:41,000
had on off and actually made him
look like he did in damn comic

708
00:40:41,000 --> 00:40:43,500
book series and see their read
anything.

709
00:40:43,500 --> 00:40:46,100
Let me start thinking about
Taskmaster can really count on

710
00:40:46,100 --> 00:40:48,900
those are so cool.
I'm good Leah.

711
00:40:49,000 --> 00:40:51,200
It's like we're not going to go
on that tangent.

712
00:40:51,600 --> 00:40:56,800
Thank you so I but yeah it's
like he I mean he is I mean

713
00:40:56,800 --> 00:41:01,400
there's so much and this like
really diversifies the the work

714
00:41:01,400 --> 00:41:05,100
that he's done.
Like I mean from Doom to puppy

715
00:41:05,200 --> 00:41:09,600
if you look at Poe Dameron and
this character you're like it's

716
00:41:09,600 --> 00:41:12,100
night and day.
It's like he's uh normal just

717
00:41:12,100 --> 00:41:16,400
use almost unrecognizable.
For real is like he's that shows

718
00:41:16,400 --> 00:41:17,200
how good of a job.
Job.

719
00:41:17,200 --> 00:41:21,000
He's doing.
Yeah but you know I was thinking

720
00:41:21,000 --> 00:41:26,500
because you know, when the cops
are in his apartment And the

721
00:41:26,500 --> 00:41:31,300
dude finds his passport and
people keep saying, okay, you're

722
00:41:31,300 --> 00:41:35,000
this person, you're this person
or we've seen your, whatever my

723
00:41:35,000 --> 00:41:36,800
question is.
And I know this is probably

724
00:41:36,800 --> 00:41:40,000
because, you know, thinking on
the Fly is not really, Steven

725
00:41:40,000 --> 00:41:43,300
strong suit, unless it comes to
Egyptian stuff, we're seeing.

726
00:41:43,900 --> 00:41:48,400
I'm like to just tell people you
have a twin like that will solve

727
00:41:48,400 --> 00:41:51,100
so much like that's my twin
brother.

728
00:41:51,400 --> 00:41:54,600
We were separated at Birth.
We just recently found Each

729
00:41:54,600 --> 00:41:58,100
other.
I mean, it could work.

730
00:41:58,100 --> 00:42:01,700
Yeah but but I mean this is all
new to him he's probably he's

731
00:42:01,700 --> 00:42:04,200
probably so far from thinking on
his feet right now.

732
00:42:04,900 --> 00:42:09,200
Yeah, he's just like like he
can't do any of that even if he

733
00:42:09,200 --> 00:42:11,900
could have before.
Now with everything that's going

734
00:42:11,900 --> 00:42:14,600
on, there's absolutely no chance
that he can think on his feet

735
00:42:14,600 --> 00:42:17,600
that fast.
Yeah, but it's the funny thing

736
00:42:17,600 --> 00:42:21,100
is it's like even when they're
in the cop car and they're

737
00:42:21,100 --> 00:42:25,000
they're they're riding and he's
telling them he's like look This

738
00:42:25,000 --> 00:42:27,200
is not me because they're
looking on the computer and they

739
00:42:27,200 --> 00:42:29,400
see.
Oh my specters, like an

740
00:42:29,400 --> 00:42:34,300
international criminal, you
know, dropping bodies and all

741
00:42:34,300 --> 00:42:36,200
the stuff he was like, that's
not me.

742
00:42:36,200 --> 00:42:39,100
I'm like, how can you not talk
to this dude?

743
00:42:39,100 --> 00:42:42,900
For 2 minutes?
And not realize, something is

744
00:42:42,900 --> 00:42:48,400
wrong, because there's no way
this mild-mannered soft-spoken

745
00:42:49,600 --> 00:42:55,600
person Is this?
And I mean, I know you're

746
00:42:55,600 --> 00:42:57,200
looking at the physical evidence
will.

747
00:42:57,200 --> 00:42:59,500
He's got the same face, is this
perfect?

748
00:43:01,100 --> 00:43:04,900
Come on.
Now, especially if you work for

749
00:43:04,900 --> 00:43:08,800
someone like Harrow, which we
find out something from from

750
00:43:08,800 --> 00:43:11,800
from his perspective, from his
perspective, you're right, but

751
00:43:11,800 --> 00:43:14,500
from their perspective Harrell
has probably already told them.

752
00:43:15,100 --> 00:43:18,700
His mind is fractured because
you know later we learned that

753
00:43:18,700 --> 00:43:20,800
they work for her.
So they already know that.

754
00:43:20,800 --> 00:43:23,200
He's my heat Heroes probably
already told him.

755
00:43:23,200 --> 00:43:25,300
Yeah.
The only snow Every fifth his

756
00:43:25,300 --> 00:43:27,300
mind is fractured right?
Just bring em here.

757
00:43:27,800 --> 00:43:30,400
Yeah it's bringing me they know
this, right?

758
00:43:31,500 --> 00:43:37,100
Because Harrow just what we see
of him in this episode when he's

759
00:43:37,100 --> 00:43:40,300
sitting there talking to Steven.
And again this is going to come

760
00:43:40,300 --> 00:43:44,000
into that conversation Anthony
and I had a conversation in my

761
00:43:44,000 --> 00:43:47,800
office last week.
We were talking about villains

762
00:43:47,800 --> 00:43:53,900
and those who are getting
Redemption arcs or those who are

763
00:43:54,000 --> 00:43:59,100
Kind of is like, what was that
person will really wrong and I

764
00:43:59,100 --> 00:44:00,800
don't know.
There's something about Harold's

765
00:44:00,800 --> 00:44:02,400
character.
Like yes, I understand.

766
00:44:02,400 --> 00:44:07,600
He's the villain in this story
and he has nefarious, plans.

767
00:44:07,600 --> 00:44:11,300
I'm going to go with all the
little catch phrases but there's

768
00:44:11,300 --> 00:44:17,000
also something about him that
seems very very sincere.

769
00:44:17,300 --> 00:44:22,100
Like he knows already like, even
from the first time he met

770
00:44:22,100 --> 00:44:26,000
Steven once he realized 500k.
This do really does work in the

771
00:44:26,000 --> 00:44:30,900
gift shop and he, you know, does
the balance the scales or does

772
00:44:30,900 --> 00:44:34,900
the scales test on him?
He realizes that there's a lot

773
00:44:34,900 --> 00:44:37,700
more going.
So when they are together in

774
00:44:37,700 --> 00:44:42,400
this scene, he tells him, he's
like, it must be really hard.

775
00:44:42,400 --> 00:44:45,100
Having all of those voices in
your head and he says, Marc

776
00:44:45,100 --> 00:44:51,400
Spector, Steven Grant khonshu
and then we find out that he

777
00:44:51,400 --> 00:44:56,100
used to be conscious Avatar.
So I feel like even though he

778
00:44:56,100 --> 00:44:59,900
seems like he's supposed to be
the this villainous guy, the way

779
00:44:59,900 --> 00:45:02,300
that he kind of comes comes
across.

780
00:45:03,900 --> 00:45:06,200
I don't know if I feel like he's
a bad guy.

781
00:45:06,200 --> 00:45:11,200
Like he has this thing in his
mind where I met needs to be

782
00:45:11,200 --> 00:45:18,000
Unleashed so that evil can be
cast out of the world and we

783
00:45:18,000 --> 00:45:20,900
don't know yet his full
motivations for all of that.

784
00:45:20,900 --> 00:45:25,000
But something about me tells me
he's not just this this villain

785
00:45:25,000 --> 00:45:28,200
it's kind of like going back to
the whole endgame and you know,

786
00:45:28,200 --> 00:45:31,200
Infinity Saga and thinking about
Thanos.

787
00:45:31,200 --> 00:45:34,300
Now the way that people Look at
him.

788
00:45:34,300 --> 00:45:39,600
Now, when we look at the newer
Disney plus series light,

789
00:45:39,600 --> 00:45:42,500
especially a hot guy, you know,
you saw Thanos was right

790
00:45:42,500 --> 00:45:46,600
everywhere because it's like
after the fact, people started

791
00:45:46,600 --> 00:45:49,400
thinking about what he did and
why he supposedly did things.

792
00:45:49,400 --> 00:45:51,900
And they're like, okay well
maybe he had the right idea,

793
00:45:51,900 --> 00:45:53,300
just went about it, the wrong
way.

794
00:45:53,700 --> 00:45:57,100
I kind of feel like you Harrell
is that way too, so the way that

795
00:45:57,100 --> 00:46:03,200
he kind of takes care of Stephen
while he's there something tells

796
00:46:03,200 --> 00:46:09,700
me that Wouldn't be the type of
person to tell his his henchmen,

797
00:46:09,700 --> 00:46:13,300
his ability, his cops, whatever
you want to call them something

798
00:46:13,300 --> 00:46:16,000
like his mind is broken, don't
don't believe him.

799
00:46:16,200 --> 00:46:18,400
He doesn't seem to me to be that
type.

800
00:46:18,400 --> 00:46:22,000
It will be more like he may be a
little bit confused.

801
00:46:22,000 --> 00:46:26,400
Just kind of not to believe him,
just, you know, just go.

802
00:46:26,400 --> 00:46:31,000
Just go with it, right, right?
Yeah, but see you got, you got,

803
00:46:31,000 --> 00:46:35,100
you still have to remember that.
Harrow is Basically Jim Jones,

804
00:46:35,200 --> 00:46:40,200
like he has followers, that are
loyal to him to a fault that

805
00:46:40,200 --> 00:46:43,900
would do anything.
He says, and he's very cares.

806
00:46:43,900 --> 00:46:45,900
He's charismatic.
I mean, you got to look at this

807
00:46:45,900 --> 00:46:49,600
way, they based Harrow, they
based the character of Harrow

808
00:46:49,600 --> 00:46:52,900
off of David koresh.
So they're mean, they're

809
00:46:52,900 --> 00:46:55,800
parallels there, too.
It's like David koresh was very

810
00:46:55,800 --> 00:46:58,500
charismatic, people loved him.
People listen to him and

811
00:46:58,500 --> 00:47:03,200
followed him, like, even when
the walls were literally closing

812
00:47:03,200 --> 00:47:05,500
and burn.
In on them, they still were

813
00:47:05,500 --> 00:47:08,500
there with him.
And that's the, that's the signs

814
00:47:08,500 --> 00:47:11,800
of a good cult leaders.
Like you get people to do what

815
00:47:11,800 --> 00:47:17,000
you do to do, what you say, no
matter what and you you and it's

816
00:47:17,000 --> 00:47:21,200
like you seem like you're not
exhibiting effort to make them

817
00:47:21,200 --> 00:47:23,700
do what you're getting them to
do.

818
00:47:23,800 --> 00:47:25,600
Hmm.
And he's doing that.

819
00:47:25,600 --> 00:47:28,300
It's like I mean he has people.
Look at his compound is like he

820
00:47:28,300 --> 00:47:31,300
has people learning three
languages like little black

821
00:47:31,300 --> 00:47:32,900
girl.
Speaking Mandarin Wok.

822
00:47:32,900 --> 00:47:35,000
No she was Not and we'll get
into that.

823
00:47:35,000 --> 00:47:39,100
But no, she was not kind of
speaking Mandarin but then you

824
00:47:39,107 --> 00:47:41,800
see but then you walk into the
compound and see people with

825
00:47:41,800 --> 00:47:45,400
headphones looking at whales
swimming and you're like, huh

826
00:47:45,400 --> 00:47:46,600
and then.
Yeah.

827
00:47:46,600 --> 00:47:51,000
And then eating like that, like
vegan lentil soup and all this

828
00:47:51,000 --> 00:47:54,700
other stuff and it's like, and
people like getting along

829
00:47:54,700 --> 00:47:58,500
because he told them like, this
is the way follow me, and I will

830
00:47:58,500 --> 00:48:03,700
lead you to Salvation, And it's
like he is, Jim Jones, He is The

831
00:48:03,700 --> 00:48:06,100
correct.
He is all these charismatic

832
00:48:06,100 --> 00:48:11,100
leaders that affect find people
who have the correct mind state

833
00:48:11,100 --> 00:48:15,100
for them to believe.
What somebody who has a little

834
00:48:15,100 --> 00:48:18,800
bit of Charisma, a nice smile
and a head nod.

835
00:48:18,900 --> 00:48:21,300
And they're like, okay and there
they go.

836
00:48:21,600 --> 00:48:23,600
I don't know about that.
Nice smile, I don't think I've

837
00:48:23,600 --> 00:48:27,400
seen Harold smile at all.
Like hell.

838
00:48:27,400 --> 00:48:30,900
I got a little have swimming,
he's kind of serious but when he

839
00:48:30,900 --> 00:48:33,000
does a little bit of a
half-smile in there sometimes

840
00:48:33,000 --> 00:48:36,800
but It's not my point is just
like he, I mean, he has, he has

841
00:48:36,800 --> 00:48:41,400
it, he has what he needs, he has
that it factor and he like, you

842
00:48:41,400 --> 00:48:46,700
know, he just gets people to, to
listen to what he says and do

843
00:48:46,700 --> 00:48:49,900
what he needs to be done.
So it's like you just kind of, I

844
00:48:49,900 --> 00:48:52,200
mean, yeah, he's charismatic.
Yes.

845
00:48:52,200 --> 00:48:54,300
Oh yeah, yeah.
I could see how people could see

846
00:48:54,300 --> 00:48:56,600
that.
He has say, he has a point but

847
00:48:56,600 --> 00:49:00,200
it's I mean, it's just like just
like the great philosopher.

848
00:49:00,200 --> 00:49:03,400
Fred Williamson said on the king
cobra commercials, don't let the

849
00:49:03,700 --> 00:49:07,700
Tastefully might you don't have
you don't have to go that far

850
00:49:07,700 --> 00:49:09,200
with aging us.
Okay.

851
00:49:09,200 --> 00:49:13,700
Cobra, you did not have to go
that far with aging us.

852
00:49:13,900 --> 00:49:16,200
It's bad enough.
You made you mentioned David

853
00:49:16,200 --> 00:49:18,800
koresh because I know most
people are like people who are

854
00:49:18,800 --> 00:49:20,900
younger than us.
They're like who is that?

855
00:49:20,900 --> 00:49:24,500
Because they didn't live through
all of that and learning with

856
00:49:24,500 --> 00:49:27,100
gold.
That was like, was that late

857
00:49:27,100 --> 00:49:29,200
milk?
There was that long you're

858
00:49:29,200 --> 00:49:32,800
talking about a generation, I
thought was a little girl.

859
00:49:35,300 --> 00:49:38,000
You're talking about a
generation who you know, it's

860
00:49:39,600 --> 00:49:42,100
who was walking around on Tick,
Tock talking about who is Bon

861
00:49:42,100 --> 00:49:46,200
Jovi, excuse you.
So yeah, just it.

862
00:49:46,207 --> 00:49:48,500
For those of you who are
listening, who have no idea who

863
00:49:48,500 --> 00:49:52,800
the hell Mike is talking about.
Just go Google David koresh and

864
00:49:52,800 --> 00:49:55,300
you will see.
And yeah, it'll make like a

865
00:49:55,400 --> 00:49:58,400
little Kor, right?
And then we'll make a lot of

866
00:49:58,600 --> 00:50:04,200
existential crisis right now.
I don't think I can You did it.

867
00:50:05,000 --> 00:50:07,000
It doesn't seem like it was that
long ago.

868
00:50:07,200 --> 00:50:10,600
Hey, yeah, it worked.
We asked young people, whatever

869
00:50:10,600 --> 00:50:14,000
golden oldies and then you feel
old?

870
00:50:14,000 --> 00:50:16,000
No, I don't know.
We're not doing that doing that.

871
00:50:17,100 --> 00:50:18,400
Oh my God, Boys.
To Men.

872
00:50:18,500 --> 00:50:23,000
That's a great old group.
I was listening to an old-school

873
00:50:23,000 --> 00:50:27,000
station and they play Rihanna.
I was like, I'm done.

874
00:50:27,300 --> 00:50:31,300
I'm done.
No, not doing that.

875
00:50:32,300 --> 00:50:36,900
But I see how our parents felt
when in the 90s we talked about

876
00:50:36,900 --> 00:50:39,700
80s as old school and 70s is old
school.

877
00:50:40,300 --> 00:50:43,200
Your old man, Stevie Wonder?
Yeah, that old him in that old

878
00:50:43,200 --> 00:50:46,200
school stuff is crazy.
So we're just getting it, which

879
00:50:46,200 --> 00:50:48,700
is getting it back, you know,
turnabout's fair play.

880
00:50:49,400 --> 00:50:56,000
I suppose or Like a Star Trek
with Mira playing The Beastie

881
00:50:56,000 --> 00:50:57,600
Boys song.
He's like, what is this

882
00:50:57,600 --> 00:51:01,800
classical music?
You know we can actually we can

883
00:51:01,800 --> 00:51:06,600
actually do a whole podcast
episode about references that

884
00:51:06,600 --> 00:51:11,800
age us that make people go huh.
What God we could do W like a

885
00:51:11,800 --> 00:51:14,600
five-part series fan.
It would because because you

886
00:51:14,600 --> 00:51:17,800
could do one on music, you could
do one on TV shows you can do

887
00:51:17,800 --> 00:51:20,300
one hour with us current event,
right?

888
00:51:20,300 --> 00:51:22,900
So yeah.
Okay anyway, getting back to

889
00:51:22,900 --> 00:51:25,500
Moonlight before we get too far
off track.

890
00:51:25,700 --> 00:51:28,100
Yeah.
That's how she'll just even for

891
00:51:28,100 --> 00:51:30,700
calling him out to after he told
him his purpose.

892
00:51:30,700 --> 00:51:33,400
He was like, oh, so y'all are
good with killing kids.

893
00:51:33,400 --> 00:51:35,500
Yeah.
And everybody's kind of like

894
00:51:37,400 --> 00:51:43,200
Well, when you put it that way,
you guys like, Stephen put it

895
00:51:43,200 --> 00:51:46,600
straight into perspective and
Harold, kind of look Harold,

896
00:51:46,600 --> 00:51:49,800
actually looked a little bit
shook their to, like, you know,

897
00:51:49,808 --> 00:51:52,000
he didn't kind of, he kind of
didn't know what to say.

898
00:51:52,400 --> 00:51:54,500
It was like, wait, what?
So you judging people before?

899
00:51:54,500 --> 00:51:57,500
They had a chance to correct
themselves.

900
00:51:57,500 --> 00:52:00,700
That doesn't seem right.
Like, what if their children and

901
00:52:00,700 --> 00:52:04,400
then he's like, right?
I was like, I said, what are you

902
00:52:04,400 --> 00:52:06,800
gonna?
Are you gonna Kill a baby been

903
00:52:07,200 --> 00:52:11,300
based on, like it's kind of
like, I'm trying to think of one

904
00:52:11,300 --> 00:52:15,100
inside.
Oh, okay, I think it was was a

905
00:52:15,107 --> 00:52:17,600
supernatural or there was
another show.

906
00:52:19,100 --> 00:52:22,300
I don't remember but somebody
went back in time and kill kill

907
00:52:22,300 --> 00:52:25,400
Hitler as a baby or that's that
was the premise they were going

908
00:52:25,400 --> 00:52:28,300
to kill Hitler as a baby.
They're like but that's a baby.

909
00:52:28,300 --> 00:52:32,200
They're like what he's going to
become such and such.

910
00:52:32,600 --> 00:52:36,200
So it's kind of like you you
have that kind of like if you

911
00:52:36,200 --> 00:52:39,700
have knowledge that somebody is
going to do something horrible.

912
00:52:40,000 --> 00:52:43,700
Like you have all of these TV
shows and movies where people go

913
00:52:43,700 --> 00:52:45,500
back in time and they try to
change things.

914
00:52:45,500 --> 00:52:48,400
Of course we know Minority
Report.

915
00:52:48,400 --> 00:52:52,800
Yeah, you can't do that but for
someone like I'm at who says

916
00:52:52,800 --> 00:52:57,000
okay I know that you're going to
do this horrible thing, or

917
00:52:57,000 --> 00:52:58,400
you're going to do that horrible
thing.

918
00:52:58,400 --> 00:53:05,300
So let's just go ahead and knock
you out the way and then maybe

919
00:53:05,300 --> 00:53:06,400
those horrible things won't
happen.

920
00:53:06,408 --> 00:53:10,800
Technically speaking, it hasn't
happened yet, so it's not like,

921
00:53:10,800 --> 00:53:14,700
it's a fixed point in time.
You're eliminating it but then,

922
00:53:14,700 --> 00:53:19,200
the more really comes in like,
okay, but what if something else

923
00:53:19,200 --> 00:53:23,100
happens in that person's life,
that kind of takes them off of

924
00:53:23,100 --> 00:53:25,400
that path and puts them on On a
different path.

925
00:53:25,600 --> 00:53:29,200
Like how do you how do you know
specifically that?

926
00:53:29,200 --> 00:53:31,700
Yes, this person is going to be
bad.

927
00:53:31,700 --> 00:53:34,400
You don't know that because
we're humans human nature.

928
00:53:34,400 --> 00:53:38,600
Changes us all the time.
Somebody can be this Y.

929
00:53:38,700 --> 00:53:43,800
And this y, the balancing is
after your death and that during

930
00:53:43,800 --> 00:53:48,000
your life, you know?
And that's, that's the thing

931
00:53:48,000 --> 00:53:52,000
with the Egyptian, right
knowledge, right there.

932
00:53:52,000 --> 00:53:56,300
Balance your life after you die.
Not that.

933
00:53:56,300 --> 00:53:59,900
Why you live taking into account
things that you may or may not?

934
00:54:01,000 --> 00:54:04,000
At least when you did, you've
already been right?

935
00:54:04,000 --> 00:54:07,000
And I'm thinking, I'm thinking
very specifically about American

936
00:54:07,000 --> 00:54:09,400
Gods.
Now, when we come to that, you

937
00:54:09,400 --> 00:54:12,200
know, you have the lady who was
in the kitchen and she fell off

938
00:54:12,200 --> 00:54:17,100
the chair and you know, she was
told ya, you'll be fine, you're

939
00:54:17,100 --> 00:54:20,100
going to go live a great
afterlife and then you have

940
00:54:20,100 --> 00:54:27,700
someone like Laura who literally
was you No, yes we but yeah, and

941
00:54:28,100 --> 00:54:32,400
okay, yeah, we won't go into
that because but yeah, it's kind

942
00:54:32,400 --> 00:54:35,700
of one of those things like,
okay, so how who?

943
00:54:35,700 --> 00:54:39,900
In and I understand she's a God.
So, to ask the question, like,

944
00:54:39,900 --> 00:54:42,400
who puts your, who made you the
judge in rule.

945
00:54:42,400 --> 00:54:45,600
Okay, well, she's God, that's
kind of what they do, but I

946
00:54:45,600 --> 00:54:49,800
don't think that is right that
You judge someone based on

947
00:54:49,800 --> 00:54:53,200
decisions, they have not made
yet because again, you can

948
00:54:53,200 --> 00:54:55,700
change there can be other
circumstances.

949
00:54:55,700 --> 00:54:58,900
Like, think about Steven,
Steven, from what we see is an

950
00:54:58,900 --> 00:55:04,400
inherently good person, but if
you judge him based on what his

951
00:55:04,400 --> 00:55:08,100
Alters are doing, like we
already know, Mark is a killer,

952
00:55:09,200 --> 00:55:12,500
you know, I don't think it's in
this episode.

953
00:55:12,500 --> 00:55:13,800
I think it's in the next
episode.

954
00:55:13,800 --> 00:55:18,100
So I'm not going to spoil it.
But there is obviously, at least

955
00:55:18,300 --> 00:55:21,700
More personality living in his
brain because we kind of see

956
00:55:21,700 --> 00:55:25,400
hints of that.
So it's kind of like, but when

957
00:55:25,400 --> 00:55:28,900
you come to somebody like
Steven, like what do you judge

958
00:55:28,900 --> 00:55:32,000
him based off of do you judge
him based off of who the

959
00:55:32,000 --> 00:55:35,800
original body belonged to do?
You judge him based off?

960
00:55:35,800 --> 00:55:37,800
Who was the more dominant
Persona?

961
00:55:37,800 --> 00:55:42,100
And at any given time like and I
understand that's why the scales

962
00:55:42,100 --> 00:55:44,800
were, you know, he couldn't be
weighed because there was so

963
00:55:44,800 --> 00:55:46,600
much chaos going on in his
brain.

964
00:55:46,600 --> 00:55:49,300
But still it's kind of like
Like, who makes that

965
00:55:49,300 --> 00:55:53,000
determination?
Yes, it's interesting that I

966
00:55:53,000 --> 00:55:55,300
meant and conscious.
You are the two guys through a

967
00:55:55,308 --> 00:56:01,000
sort of like kicked out to the
side because on the one hand,

968
00:56:01,000 --> 00:56:05,100
you have one who she's was
punished for a balancing Lives

969
00:56:05,300 --> 00:56:08,600
why people are alive.
And then you have the other one.

970
00:56:08,800 --> 00:56:13,400
He's killing people because you
know if his hand of Justice or

971
00:56:13,400 --> 00:56:18,100
whatever, those things aren't
allowing people to live out.

972
00:56:18,300 --> 00:56:22,700
Natural light, if you have the
life balance, after they die.

973
00:56:22,800 --> 00:56:26,700
So the kind of going against
what the other guys to sort of

974
00:56:26,700 --> 00:56:29,700
establishes, what we're supposed
to do.

975
00:56:30,800 --> 00:56:34,200
And then, you know, the other
thing I'm thinking of is when I

976
00:56:34,207 --> 00:56:40,500
was editing, our episode 4
episode 1, I was thinking about

977
00:56:40,500 --> 00:56:42,400
what might say.
I think it was Mike who was

978
00:56:42,408 --> 00:56:45,000
saying it.
You were saying something about

979
00:56:45,500 --> 00:56:49,500
how you feel like you know how
the show's And of give us one

980
00:56:49,500 --> 00:56:51,300
thing to thank.
And then they kind of throw us

981
00:56:51,300 --> 00:56:54,400
for a loop by saying, oh yeah,
we wanted you to go down this

982
00:56:54,400 --> 00:56:57,200
path but we're going to take you
down this path.

983
00:56:57,200 --> 00:56:59,600
One Division, obviously, that
sort of thing.

984
00:56:59,900 --> 00:57:04,600
But Mike says something about
wondering whether or not I meant

985
00:57:04,800 --> 00:57:08,300
was not actually just
eliminating the evil people, but

986
00:57:08,300 --> 00:57:13,700
maybe I think you said something
about maybe her and lemonade in

987
00:57:13,700 --> 00:57:16,600
the good people.
So that the only the evil people

988
00:57:16,700 --> 00:57:22,100
actually Actually exist it.
Yeah.

989
00:57:22,100 --> 00:57:25,100
This is it because we look at
him when he was in the village

990
00:57:25,100 --> 00:57:29,500
like he he obviously got one of
his henchmen and judged him and

991
00:57:29,500 --> 00:57:33,300
said this is a good man but then
the kindly old woman who's been

992
00:57:33,300 --> 00:57:35,400
good?
All her life was probably a nun.

993
00:57:35,600 --> 00:57:38,700
He just her poorly and she said
but I've been good my whole

994
00:57:38,700 --> 00:57:39,600
life.
He's like well maybe it's

995
00:57:39,600 --> 00:57:41,500
something you do late do
tomorrow.

996
00:57:41,800 --> 00:57:47,000
Sorry and so Sucka go.
So what is mine and she's dead?

997
00:57:47,300 --> 00:57:50,900
So yeah, I think that I mean,
it's see, it just seems like,

998
00:57:50,900 --> 00:57:54,300
you know, No, again it goes back
to him being very charismatic

999
00:57:54,300 --> 00:57:57,500
and him saying this man is good,
who he's good.

1000
00:57:57,500 --> 00:57:59,600
This woman is bad, but I've been
good.

1001
00:57:59,600 --> 00:58:02,800
Maybe something you did later,
yes, I'm she did later, it's

1002
00:58:02,800 --> 00:58:05,700
kill her and it's like, you
know, and but yeah I mean it's

1003
00:58:05,700 --> 00:58:09,000
just something that you know, he
could be bringing his he could

1004
00:58:09,000 --> 00:58:17,000
be being deceived and I think
that, I mean, maybe maybe he/she

1005
00:58:17,900 --> 00:58:21,600
is using him to come back and
In.

1006
00:58:21,800 --> 00:58:26,000
She's going to go about her own
nefarious, business and get big

1007
00:58:26,000 --> 00:58:30,200
be rid of Harrow and just be
like, okay, thank you, I'm gone,

1008
00:58:31,000 --> 00:58:33,300
you know, this is the
interesting thing about that.

1009
00:58:33,300 --> 00:58:36,800
So if you think about the
information, we learned in this

1010
00:58:36,800 --> 00:58:40,500
episode, we learn that Harrow
used to be the Avatar of

1011
00:58:40,500 --> 00:58:42,600
conscious.
Now, we see the kind of shit

1012
00:58:42,600 --> 00:58:48,200
construe has marked doing okay,
enabling him to kill people

1013
00:58:48,500 --> 00:58:52,800
deceive people, whatever,
whatever. so if he was conscious

1014
00:58:52,800 --> 00:58:57,100
Avatar first, and he was doing
this kind of thing for khonshu,

1015
00:58:59,500 --> 00:59:03,600
I want to know how he became the
avatar for I met, because if I

1016
00:59:03,600 --> 00:59:08,600
met is judging people based on
the whole of their lives, like

1017
00:59:08,600 --> 00:59:12,800
the things that they have done
are doing and have yet to do

1018
00:59:13,900 --> 00:59:19,100
Harrow, I do not feel like for
khonshu to grab Harrow as his

1019
00:59:19,100 --> 00:59:23,600
Avatar feel like Harrell had to
have had maybe somewhat of a

1020
00:59:23,600 --> 00:59:27,500
sketchy life to begin with
because I don't think you can

1021
00:59:27,500 --> 00:59:31,100
take someone that's pure.
And good and make them do the

1022
00:59:31,100 --> 00:59:34,100
things that we have seen
Koshkonong Shumake Mark.

1023
00:59:34,100 --> 00:59:39,600
Do so my question is, if Harold
had to do some of the same kind

1024
00:59:39,600 --> 00:59:44,500
of stuff under con shoes rule I
guess for the better for the

1025
00:59:44,500 --> 00:59:49,600
better way to put it.
How did he become a Mets voice?

1026
00:59:50,000 --> 00:59:54,500
As far as Doling out Justice?
Because I feel like your skills

1027
00:59:54,600 --> 00:59:58,000
are probably not balanced.
So how do you become the voice

1028
00:59:58,000 --> 01:00:02,700
for someone?
Whose purpose is to judge people

1029
01:00:03,700 --> 01:00:06,900
based on their life that like
that's kind of weird to me.

1030
01:00:07,500 --> 01:00:12,500
Well, hanako he probably
repudiated him, he probably

1031
01:00:12,800 --> 01:00:15,700
kicked him out from being his
Avatar.

1032
01:00:15,900 --> 01:00:21,900
He was left basically Godless
and he stumbled across her or

1033
01:00:21,900 --> 01:00:23,600
she found him.
I mean, let's face it.

1034
01:00:23,600 --> 01:00:25,900
One of the biggest tropes
especially if you go back to

1035
01:00:25,900 --> 01:00:30,400
Misty lockleys Harold series
Vandal Savage his Sighs.

1036
01:00:30,400 --> 01:00:34,000
Well, Stephen Stephen was
involved in a blood Feud with

1037
01:00:34,000 --> 01:00:38,100
family.
He went too far and his, his

1038
01:00:40,100 --> 01:00:46,100
horse, basically Harold names.
Whatever basically said, I don't

1039
01:00:46,100 --> 01:00:48,100
know you more.
It was it, I see you.

1040
01:00:48,100 --> 01:00:49,800
No more, I speak to you, no
more.

1041
01:00:49,800 --> 01:00:51,600
I hear, you know, more like they
didn't Trueblood.

1042
01:00:51,900 --> 01:00:54,100
So it could have been one of
those scenarios where he

1043
01:00:54,100 --> 01:00:58,100
basically said we're done and
you're on your own, get to

1044
01:00:58,100 --> 01:01:00,000
Steppin, he was wondering
probably.

1045
01:01:00,100 --> 01:01:01,700
Alone in the desert.
So we're in Egypt because you

1046
01:01:01,707 --> 01:01:04,300
know that's where it probably
happened and she found him and

1047
01:01:04,300 --> 01:01:09,700
said you were not worthy of this
but you're worthy of this and

1048
01:01:09,700 --> 01:01:13,200
said can you are I need for you
to be my avatar?

1049
01:01:13,200 --> 01:01:15,800
And he obsessed accepted because
he had nothing else to do.

1050
01:01:15,900 --> 01:01:18,600
Our nothing else or where to go.
I mean, what do you guys say?

1051
01:01:19,200 --> 01:01:23,000
I think that that's acceptable.
I think that's put best

1052
01:01:23,000 --> 01:01:26,100
possible.
It just, you know, like I said,

1053
01:01:26,100 --> 01:01:29,400
it kind of threw me because I'm
like, okay, chances are you did

1054
01:01:29,400 --> 01:01:33,300
some bad stuff Before khonshu
even came into your life, I

1055
01:01:33,308 --> 01:01:35,700
don't know.
Because even though yes he seems

1056
01:01:35,700 --> 01:01:41,600
charismatic, he seems caring.
I also feel like that's not

1057
01:01:42,500 --> 01:01:44,300
that's not the total sum of who
he is.

1058
01:01:44,300 --> 01:01:48,300
Like I really feel like we're
going to see some more Sinister

1059
01:01:48,300 --> 01:01:51,100
behavior from him.
Probably later on down the line.

1060
01:01:51,700 --> 01:01:56,400
But right now, we're only two
episodes in their goal is to

1061
01:01:56,400 --> 01:02:01,600
make us look at this person and
be Like well maybe he's not such

1062
01:02:01,600 --> 01:02:06,400
a bad guy.
Well, I okay, this is not a

1063
01:02:06,400 --> 01:02:10,400
theory.
So whatever every time every

1064
01:02:10,400 --> 01:02:14,100
time you start something less
saying that it usually turns out

1065
01:02:14,100 --> 01:02:16,800
to be kind of theoretical.
So, go ahead with your theory.

1066
01:02:16,900 --> 01:02:21,700
This is not a theory first
because first amazing prison,

1067
01:02:21,900 --> 01:02:25,100
she can't talk to anybody.
She can't recruit anybody.

1068
01:02:25,500 --> 01:02:29,800
She is locked up.
Everything that Hera was doing.

1069
01:02:30,000 --> 01:02:34,800
His stuff that he has piece
together from, either his own

1070
01:02:34,800 --> 01:02:40,300
research or conversations with
constitute that a few things

1071
01:02:40,300 --> 01:02:42,600
consciously may have, you know,
their slip them in their

1072
01:02:43,000 --> 01:02:45,600
discussions and he has piece
together.

1073
01:02:46,000 --> 01:02:50,700
He doesn't know where I'm at,
once he's just guessing where

1074
01:02:50,700 --> 01:02:54,500
I'm at once.
So, when he says, oh, she just

1075
01:02:54,500 --> 01:02:57,500
wants to judge people.
She really could just be really

1076
01:02:57,500 --> 01:03:02,300
wanted to get rid of everybody.
Either me and he use the sizing,

1077
01:03:02,600 --> 01:03:04,500
the balancing, the scales and
all that stuff.

1078
01:03:04,500 --> 01:03:08,500
That's something he's doing
based on the way he thinks she

1079
01:03:08,500 --> 01:03:10,000
wants.
Okay?

1080
01:03:11,000 --> 01:03:14,800
Okay.
Because that secant cc is locked

1081
01:03:14,800 --> 01:03:17,900
away.
She cannot reach out to anyone

1082
01:03:19,100 --> 01:03:22,000
at all.
Like she's gone for all

1083
01:03:22,000 --> 01:03:24,200
intensive purposes.
This is all Harold's doing.

1084
01:03:25,400 --> 01:03:27,500
So Harold.
May be in for a surprise.

1085
01:03:27,500 --> 01:03:29,400
He doesn't he doesn't really
know what she wants.

1086
01:03:29,800 --> 01:03:33,200
This is kissing.
Okay, I can see that.

1087
01:03:33,900 --> 01:03:36,700
I mean, he may have part of it,
but he doesn't know the whole

1088
01:03:36,700 --> 01:03:39,400
story.
Okay, they put it away for a

1089
01:03:39,400 --> 01:03:41,600
reason.
Okay.

1090
01:03:42,600 --> 01:03:46,200
Okay.
But yeah, Stephen questioning

1091
01:03:46,200 --> 01:03:49,500
Harrow with, oh, so you're okay
with killing kids like that

1092
01:03:49,500 --> 01:03:52,900
whole conversation.
And it's funny because we've

1093
01:03:52,900 --> 01:03:57,200
talked about this before to the
quote, unquote bad guys, or your

1094
01:03:57,200 --> 01:04:00,600
Jim Jones types, he's one of
those people Kind of like you.

1095
01:04:00,600 --> 01:04:03,200
Okay, you're gonna drink the
Kool-Aid that I'm serving you.

1096
01:04:03,400 --> 01:04:06,400
This is what we do and this is
why we're doing it.

1097
01:04:06,500 --> 01:04:09,300
And you can see Stephen walking
around the compound, just

1098
01:04:09,300 --> 01:04:14,500
looking at how everybody is
behaving like one, everyone

1099
01:04:14,500 --> 01:04:16,400
seems to be there on their own
accord.

1100
01:04:17,000 --> 01:04:19,900
Nobody seems to be hurt.
Nobody seems to be doing

1101
01:04:19,900 --> 01:04:23,100
anything dastardly, except for
the two cops that brought him

1102
01:04:23,100 --> 01:04:26,200
there.
And you see once once Harrow has

1103
01:04:26,200 --> 01:04:28,300
them, they kind of just walk off
like okay.

1104
01:04:28,800 --> 01:04:35,400
But It's one of those things
where his demeanor does suck you

1105
01:04:35,400 --> 01:04:38,700
in and it makes you say, okay,
you know what, maybe I've had

1106
01:04:38,700 --> 01:04:44,000
the wrong idea about him and
then you stick your, you know,

1107
01:04:44,000 --> 01:04:47,000
you stick your cane into the
ground and pull up all this

1108
01:04:47,000 --> 01:04:49,600
purple Essence and blah blah
blah.

1109
01:04:49,600 --> 01:04:54,900
But anyway, let's go back to the
girl and and and the Mandarin

1110
01:04:57,100 --> 01:05:00,900
because the funny thing about
that is After that episode

1111
01:05:00,900 --> 01:05:05,500
aired, I happen to be on Twitter
and I came across seemingly, use

1112
01:05:06,200 --> 01:05:09,300
post that he was like, yo,
Disney.

1113
01:05:10,000 --> 01:05:12,400
What was that?
That is so not Mandarin.

1114
01:05:12,400 --> 01:05:15,900
Like, I understand a word that
they were saying, that is not

1115
01:05:15,900 --> 01:05:18,100
Mandarin.
And then other people just

1116
01:05:18,100 --> 01:05:19,800
started saying, like yo, what
the fuck is that?

1117
01:05:19,800 --> 01:05:24,800
Like I could go to I could do
Rosetta Stone and come up with

1118
01:05:24,800 --> 01:05:30,500
better Mandarin than that and I
was just like Like, okay, you

1119
01:05:30,500 --> 01:05:34,300
know how fans are and you know,
they're going to pick up on some

1120
01:05:34,300 --> 01:05:36,500
things.
Just like they picked up with

1121
01:05:36,500 --> 01:05:40,900
the fact that Stevens quote
unquote, British accent is not a

1122
01:05:40,900 --> 01:05:46,300
real accent.
I was like okay did they do that

1123
01:05:46,300 --> 01:05:50,300
on purpose to like throw us off
to you know it's just one of

1124
01:05:50,308 --> 01:05:55,100
those things again where I feel
like they're telling us one

1125
01:05:55,100 --> 01:05:57,700
thing but they're they're trying
to make us believe something

1126
01:05:57,700 --> 01:06:01,600
else about Harrell and his, his
whole people.

1127
01:06:01,600 --> 01:06:04,800
But yeah, that Mandarin thing
was so funny because when

1128
01:06:04,800 --> 01:06:10,700
seemingly you said it I was just
like oh okay, so I guess it's

1129
01:06:10,700 --> 01:06:15,100
not correct and then once I saw
his tweet, Everybody.

1130
01:06:15,900 --> 01:06:18,500
Started tweeting about it.
This is not Mandarin.

1131
01:06:18,500 --> 01:06:21,500
What kind of Lang who was The
Language Coach?

1132
01:06:21,500 --> 01:06:27,000
And I was like, oh okay I mean
it seems like a small thing but

1133
01:06:27,000 --> 01:06:30,400
it's a big thing because here's
the thing, if you're going to

1134
01:06:30,400 --> 01:06:36,500
put that in there to have like
the representation do it, right?

1135
01:06:37,100 --> 01:06:42,800
So I'm curious as to what made
them like I don't know.

1136
01:06:44,200 --> 01:06:47,900
I don't know if it I don't know
if that was a thing on purpose.

1137
01:06:48,100 --> 01:06:50,500
I don't know if they had a
mandarin coach actually on the

1138
01:06:50,508 --> 01:06:54,600
set to say.
Yeah it's my right I mean I

1139
01:06:54,600 --> 01:06:57,400
would think they don't because
it made it in there and

1140
01:06:57,400 --> 01:07:01,400
everybody who speaks Mandarin is
like, you know, No, it could

1141
01:07:01,400 --> 01:07:05,200
have called any number of the
people who worked on some see

1142
01:07:05,400 --> 01:07:09,200
the come take it any number of
those people live.

1143
01:07:09,300 --> 01:07:11,800
You know, right.
Come on mean.

1144
01:07:11,800 --> 01:07:15,100
We already know they're
contracted for Xiang XI 2 so

1145
01:07:15,500 --> 01:07:16,900
that means they're on the
payroll.

1146
01:07:16,900 --> 01:07:22,400
Hey can you like translate this?
And this is what we want to say.

1147
01:07:22,400 --> 01:07:26,900
It's only like two lines.
You know.

1148
01:07:29,100 --> 01:07:30,500
Yaki tuna.
My accent.

1149
01:07:30,500 --> 01:07:34,500
Sorry actually sounds like it's
supposed to sound, right?

1150
01:07:34,900 --> 01:07:41,200
Because apparently none of it
was like discernible I don't

1151
01:07:41,200 --> 01:07:42,600
know.
But yeah, when you said that

1152
01:07:42,600 --> 01:07:44,700
Mike, I was like, nope!
Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope,

1153
01:07:44,800 --> 01:07:50,500
nope, nope, no.
But anyway, so at this point in

1154
01:07:50,500 --> 01:07:56,500
the story like I said, Harrow is
giving Steven the pitch he's

1155
01:07:56,500 --> 01:07:59,200
telling him about this is what
we're going to do and this is

1156
01:07:59,200 --> 01:08:02,200
what I'm trying to do and Steven
is almost.

1157
01:08:02,200 --> 01:08:05,800
It's almost like he's buying it
until he gets to the part where

1158
01:08:05,800 --> 01:08:06,400
he's like.
Okay.

1159
01:08:06,400 --> 01:08:12,500
So you guys judge people Make
something they haven't done yet

1160
01:08:13,200 --> 01:08:16,000
and this could apply to children
to yeah.

1161
01:08:16,000 --> 01:08:19,300
No, I don't think I want to be a
part of this, right?

1162
01:08:20,000 --> 01:08:26,399
And then later comes in and
she's got the Scarab And then we

1163
01:08:26,407 --> 01:08:30,700
get like, the whole big fight,
chasing whatever.

1164
01:08:30,899 --> 01:08:35,300
First of all, Layla is a badass.
Let's just put that out there.

1165
01:08:36,100 --> 01:08:39,700
Layla is a badass, and we only
see her fight in just a little

1166
01:08:39,700 --> 01:08:42,700
bit in this episode but she's a
badass.

1167
01:08:45,100 --> 01:08:49,399
Um, even when she gets to a
point where she has to fight

1168
01:08:49,399 --> 01:08:53,000
this invisible beasts, that is
chasing after Steven.

1169
01:08:53,000 --> 01:08:56,500
Like she's looking, she's
looking at Steven like to.

1170
01:08:56,500 --> 01:09:00,200
What are you talking about?
You see him being thrown around.

1171
01:09:00,200 --> 01:09:05,600
You see him being jerked and you
still have like a little bit of

1172
01:09:05,600 --> 01:09:08,500
disbelief about it.
Like what are you doing?

1173
01:09:08,500 --> 01:09:11,800
Why are you acting like that?
People confuse me this whole

1174
01:09:11,800 --> 01:09:15,399
episode and I know it's because
they couldn't see I think that

1175
01:09:15,500 --> 01:09:17,000
that may have been another
Jackal.

1176
01:09:17,100 --> 01:09:21,399
Maybe but guess what?
Look like it was a jackal.

1177
01:09:21,899 --> 01:09:22,600
Oh yeah.
Okay.

1178
01:09:22,600 --> 01:09:26,500
I see it in background but they
couldn't see jackal jackal

1179
01:09:26,500 --> 01:09:27,300
exactly.
Yeah.

1180
01:09:28,300 --> 01:09:30,800
I'm just saying, you know, we
could be dealing with a whole

1181
01:09:30,800 --> 01:09:34,700
bunch of stuff.
Did we are in Egypt or or, you

1182
01:09:34,700 --> 01:09:37,399
know, dealing with Egyptian
stuff so it could be, you know,

1183
01:09:37,399 --> 01:09:40,700
I don't think she's ever, ever
been around him when something

1184
01:09:40,700 --> 01:09:43,700
like that has happened.
She had to know something

1185
01:09:43,700 --> 01:09:47,100
because she told him.
Some of the soup, right?

1186
01:09:47,100 --> 01:09:50,000
But he probably has used the
suit in doing some of the things

1187
01:09:50,000 --> 01:09:52,800
he was supposed to be doing.
I don't think he's ever had a

1188
01:09:52,808 --> 01:09:55,400
confrontation with her.
Oh, we're here.

1189
01:09:55,400 --> 01:09:58,000
Who calls the Jackal.
Okay.

1190
01:09:58,800 --> 01:10:05,100
But when everybody sees it and
not, not just Leila when they're

1191
01:10:05,100 --> 01:10:10,000
in the street fighting and he's
being thrown into a bus, he's

1192
01:10:10,000 --> 01:10:13,300
being thrown into a wall, he's
literally being tossed around

1193
01:10:13,300 --> 01:10:17,500
and like, It up in the air,
people are just standing around

1194
01:10:17,500 --> 01:10:19,300
looking and keep they keep
walking.

1195
01:10:19,300 --> 01:10:23,100
It's kind of like it's kind of
like how people always talk

1196
01:10:23,100 --> 01:10:25,100
about New York.
Like in New York was strange.

1197
01:10:25,100 --> 01:10:26,600
Shit happens.
And just kind of walked past

1198
01:10:26,600 --> 01:10:29,900
like whatever.
That's kind of the vibe I got

1199
01:10:29,900 --> 01:10:32,600
here like gee, I really see.
Strange enough things in London

1200
01:10:32,600 --> 01:10:35,400
that this will be a thing.
But then I forgot.

1201
01:10:35,900 --> 01:10:40,300
This is part of the MCU.
Yeah, but didn't someone say is

1202
01:10:40,300 --> 01:10:42,600
he having seizures?
Yes.

1203
01:10:42,600 --> 01:10:45,900
So, one day I was drunk.
Oh, he's drunk fighting.

1204
01:10:47,700 --> 01:10:50,000
I have seen people drunk
fighting before.

1205
01:10:50,000 --> 01:10:53,500
It's never looked like that.
It's never been that clean.

1206
01:10:53,500 --> 01:10:57,400
It's never been that precise.
It's always very sloppy.

1207
01:10:57,900 --> 01:11:02,000
It's always, very sad.
I wonder, can we presume that?

1208
01:11:02,000 --> 01:11:04,800
Maybe some of these people have
seen Fight Club and they were

1209
01:11:04,800 --> 01:11:08,200
just like, hmm.
Maybe this is a fight club now,

1210
01:11:08,200 --> 01:11:11,500
you know what, I was thinking,
like I said, this is part of the

1211
01:11:11,500 --> 01:11:15,600
MCU and we don't know where
Moonlight fit It's in the

1212
01:11:15,600 --> 01:11:21,200
timeline yet but this is the
same place that had a whole like

1213
01:11:21,200 --> 01:11:26,600
a whole chitarra ship come in at
the University if I'm not

1214
01:11:26,600 --> 01:11:29,200
mistaken.
So it's not like they haven't

1215
01:11:29,200 --> 01:11:31,700
seen aliens and strange things
before.

1216
01:11:32,200 --> 01:11:35,500
So maybe that was the whole
attitude like okay, he's

1217
01:11:35,500 --> 01:11:38,400
fighting something strange.
I'm going to mind my business

1218
01:11:38,400 --> 01:11:44,500
and go over here because ya
know, But float like a

1219
01:11:44,500 --> 01:11:52,900
butterfly, sting like a bee.
That live was so amazing because

1220
01:11:52,900 --> 01:11:56,100
he's sitting there.
And first of all, he's got on

1221
01:11:56,100 --> 01:11:59,400
this clean ass white suit.
This white suit was amazing, we

1222
01:11:59,400 --> 01:12:03,200
sit at the top of the show suit
was amazing.

1223
01:12:04,200 --> 01:12:07,700
He looks good in it and then of
course, you know, he's he's

1224
01:12:07,700 --> 01:12:09,100
trying.
I feel like she's trying to put

1225
01:12:09,100 --> 01:12:12,100
on airs for labor like yeah, I
can do this, I can do this.

1226
01:12:12,100 --> 01:12:16,000
So he actually punches The
Jackal and the Jackal goes

1227
01:12:16,000 --> 01:12:21,400
flying, he's like wait, oh, I
think I kind of like this but

1228
01:12:21,400 --> 01:12:24,400
then of course, he commences to
getting his ass beat because

1229
01:12:24,400 --> 01:12:28,400
it's Stephen fighting that Mark.
But just watching all of this is

1230
01:12:28,400 --> 01:12:30,300
so interesting.
First of all, how are you

1231
01:12:30,300 --> 01:12:33,800
keeping this white soup clean?
You don't got hit by two cars

1232
01:12:34,000 --> 01:12:35,600
Cars.
You've been slammed into a bus.

1233
01:12:35,600 --> 01:12:38,300
You've been slammed into a wall.
Why are you still white?

1234
01:12:39,200 --> 01:12:43,200
Why are you still clean?
This is anti stain.

1235
01:12:43,200 --> 01:12:45,600
I mean, is that?
That's, that's, that's not easy

1236
01:12:45,600 --> 01:12:48,700
Scotchgard.
Mystical is a mystical

1237
01:12:48,700 --> 01:12:53,800
ceremonial battlesuit.
Start of the God.

1238
01:12:53,900 --> 01:13:04,400
Oh my God, just Falls away.
View.

1239
01:13:04,400 --> 01:13:06,200
Little dirt.
Snagging exactly.

1240
01:13:06,300 --> 01:13:06,900
Yeah.
What's the deal?

1241
01:13:06,900 --> 01:13:09,300
What's a little dust if you give
you can repel sand from the

1242
01:13:09,300 --> 01:13:12,500
Sahara?
Yeah, let me do this Anakin.

1243
01:13:12,500 --> 01:13:15,800
You would have loved to have to
like that could got right.

1244
01:13:15,900 --> 01:13:20,500
I do not even want to imagine
Anakin having a suit like that

1245
01:13:20,500 --> 01:13:23,300
with his anger issues.
No.

1246
01:13:24,800 --> 01:13:31,400
No, he just wanted for the, for
the Antiques and repellent.

1247
01:13:31,400 --> 01:13:33,700
So is that?
Because he hates saying because

1248
01:13:33,700 --> 01:13:38,500
it here your fans, I get it, I
get it.

1249
01:13:38,500 --> 01:13:45,800
But let me tell you, when he
checked with Steven changes back

1250
01:13:45,800 --> 01:13:49,000
into marker, you know, when he
gets slammed into the school

1251
01:13:49,000 --> 01:13:53,200
bus, his I can't remember if he
took his mask off or if it came

1252
01:13:53,200 --> 01:13:55,300
off.
First of all, All you've got on

1253
01:13:55,300 --> 01:13:58,200
a super suit.
You do not show your identity to

1254
01:13:58,200 --> 01:14:00,800
other people, you just don't do
that.

1255
01:14:00,900 --> 01:14:02,600
But of course, again this is
Steven.

1256
01:14:02,900 --> 01:14:07,700
But when he looks in the window
and Marcus like, yo you need to

1257
01:14:07,700 --> 01:14:09,100
let me take the body back or
else.

1258
01:14:09,100 --> 01:14:11,100
We're going to get killed and
you're going to get Leila killed

1259
01:14:11,100 --> 01:14:14,300
and it's the Leila part that
makes even say.

1260
01:14:15,100 --> 01:14:19,500
Okay, you know what, take the
body and I gotta say every time

1261
01:14:19,500 --> 01:14:24,800
I see this suit start to wrap
itself around him, I just want

1262
01:14:24,800 --> 01:14:30,800
to pause it and and watch it in
slow motion to see how they are

1263
01:14:30,800 --> 01:14:33,700
doing that, because it looks so
cool.

1264
01:14:35,200 --> 01:14:40,900
Just but I mean again brings up
Imhotep Vibes when he started

1265
01:14:40,900 --> 01:14:43,800
regenerating his body you know.
We like I said we're going to

1266
01:14:43,808 --> 01:14:46,400
make a lot of money references
when we're talking about this

1267
01:14:46,400 --> 01:14:50,600
show.
But it was just, you know, he

1268
01:14:50,600 --> 01:14:54,800
gets the he takes over the body
and then of course the the moon

1269
01:14:54,800 --> 01:14:59,200
night suit comes out and he
starts doing his fighting with

1270
01:14:59,200 --> 01:15:04,500
this Jackal who is running
through the crowd and the crowd

1271
01:15:04,500 --> 01:15:07,000
is I'm there, like, you got a
couple of people that it knocked

1272
01:15:07,000 --> 01:15:09,000
down to the ground.
Obviously, it wasn't trying to

1273
01:15:09,000 --> 01:15:12,900
kill anybody in the crowd like
that jacket was like puny

1274
01:15:12,900 --> 01:15:20,800
regular humans, whatever.
But why, why why are you around

1275
01:15:20,800 --> 01:15:24,200
this so called like, you know,
that there's something invisible

1276
01:15:24,200 --> 01:15:26,400
there.
Knocking people on their ass.

1277
01:15:26,500 --> 01:15:29,200
Why are you sitting there
surrounding surrounding it

1278
01:15:29,200 --> 01:15:31,500
trying to figure out what it is?
Like, where is it?

1279
01:15:31,500 --> 01:15:42,100
What people are so stupid.
But anyway, UK UK don't don't

1280
01:15:42,100 --> 01:15:46,100
even, you know, I mean, they're
basically that basically NPCs

1281
01:15:46,100 --> 01:15:49,300
they're not playable characters,
just just go around them and

1282
01:15:49,300 --> 01:15:52,000
knock them down and then get up
and run away, but they make the

1283
01:15:52,000 --> 01:15:55,700
rest of us need sleep.
So bad, he's knocking knock.

1284
01:15:55,700 --> 01:15:59,200
The he knocked the Jackal into a
car and the car in the whole

1285
01:15:59,200 --> 01:16:02,800
front of the car caved in.
And the person's like, uh, I

1286
01:16:02,800 --> 01:16:05,500
should call my that's call my
insurance agent like dancing

1287
01:16:05,500 --> 01:16:08,600
dancing, really?
That fazed at all from Having

1288
01:16:08,600 --> 01:16:11,900
their FrontRunner car caved in
by nothing again.

1289
01:16:12,100 --> 01:16:15,800
Well, this is a world where the
chitauri and Thanos have have

1290
01:16:15,800 --> 01:16:17,800
infected it.
I like I said, I don't know

1291
01:16:17,800 --> 01:16:21,700
where in the timeline this
video, but depending on where

1292
01:16:21,700 --> 01:16:25,500
this is, they also just saw
Celestial in the sky to.

1293
01:16:25,500 --> 01:16:27,800
So you're right.
You're right.

1294
01:16:27,800 --> 01:16:30,800
So there you go.
Yeah, yep.

1295
01:16:31,000 --> 01:16:32,500
So they're probably just like,
okay.

1296
01:16:32,500 --> 01:16:34,600
You know what?
That does not concern me.

1297
01:16:34,600 --> 01:16:37,400
I'm Gonna Keep On Walking.
That's true.

1298
01:16:37,400 --> 01:16:38,600
Exactly.
I'm not trying to We're in the

1299
01:16:38,608 --> 01:16:42,100
sky.
Yeah, but anyway, so they

1300
01:16:42,100 --> 01:16:45,800
finished writing this Jackal, he
actually kills the Jackal, which

1301
01:16:45,800 --> 01:16:48,900
is cool.
But in the midst, they realize

1302
01:16:48,900 --> 01:16:50,300
they don't have the Scarab
anymore.

1303
01:16:50,300 --> 01:16:53,800
Like, Mark, I guess he had it
still in his pocket and at some

1304
01:16:53,800 --> 01:16:56,300
point, it dropped out.
And of course, Layla has it.

1305
01:16:56,900 --> 01:17:01,000
She's picked it up and she's
trying to get that thing far

1306
01:17:01,000 --> 01:17:03,500
away from Harold.
Like, I think Layla is at this

1307
01:17:03,500 --> 01:17:05,200
point.
She's like, okay, you know what,

1308
01:17:05,300 --> 01:17:08,200
I think I've seen enough for the
day like this.

1309
01:17:08,300 --> 01:17:12,300
Was not what I was expecting
when I went to find my husband,

1310
01:17:12,700 --> 01:17:15,000
I was not expecting to get into
a fight.

1311
01:17:15,000 --> 01:17:19,500
I was not expecting to see
invisible, whatever's attacking

1312
01:17:20,200 --> 01:17:23,100
this person who looks like my
husband, but is not my husband.

1313
01:17:23,100 --> 01:17:26,200
Yeah, I think I'm just going to
take this little shiny thing and

1314
01:17:26,200 --> 01:17:30,400
get the hell out of Dodge.
And then, of course, you know,

1315
01:17:30,400 --> 01:17:36,300
this is where Mark and Stephen
actually have a conversation

1316
01:17:36,300 --> 01:17:39,200
because Mark, I mean, Stevens
trying to Take the body back and

1317
01:17:39,200 --> 01:17:41,700
more, his like, you know, we're
not going to do this because

1318
01:17:41,700 --> 01:17:45,700
this is what we have to do, and
he tells him about con shoes

1319
01:17:46,100 --> 01:17:49,500
deal and then he also tells them
about, hey, yeah.

1320
01:17:49,500 --> 01:17:52,500
I think khonshu is looking at
Layla to be his next Avatar and

1321
01:17:52,500 --> 01:17:55,400
I will absolutely not allow that
to happen.

1322
01:17:56,000 --> 01:17:59,100
So you know what?
You're going to stay in there

1323
01:17:59,900 --> 01:18:03,100
and I'm going to go ahead and
keep control of the body.

1324
01:18:04,000 --> 01:18:05,600
And of course they kind of go
back and forth.

1325
01:18:05,600 --> 01:18:08,800
They go back and forth and you
get to see Mark, you know, he

1326
01:18:08,900 --> 01:18:13,400
he's like stomping on the mirror
to try to get away from Steven

1327
01:18:13,400 --> 01:18:16,500
or try to kind of banished
Stephen from speaking to him.

1328
01:18:17,800 --> 01:18:25,900
And then the weird thing is, You
see a reflection in the mirror?

1329
01:18:27,300 --> 01:18:31,900
And the way that that reflection
is looking at Mark, he looks

1330
01:18:32,000 --> 01:18:36,800
angry and it looks like again a
totally different Persona.

1331
01:18:36,800 --> 01:18:40,900
I don't think that was Stephen.
That was somebody else, but the

1332
01:18:40,900 --> 01:18:43,300
guy you guys keep talking about
the cab driver.

1333
01:18:43,300 --> 01:18:48,900
I feel like that's who that was
and it's not being tells me and

1334
01:18:48,900 --> 01:18:51,500
tell me if I'm right.
Lori of as far as from the

1335
01:18:51,500 --> 01:18:56,500
comics, something tells me that
Mark is a Boy Scout.

1336
01:18:56,800 --> 01:19:00,500
Paired to this dude.
Yeah, in some ways, you're

1337
01:19:00,500 --> 01:19:04,100
right.
Okay, yeah, but yeah, he looks

1338
01:19:04,100 --> 01:19:07,000
really, really pissed.
And then, of course, you know,

1339
01:19:07,000 --> 01:19:09,600
kind of shoe comes up and he's
like, yeah, you told me that

1340
01:19:10,200 --> 01:19:13,400
Stephen was not going to
interfere and Marcus like yo I

1341
01:19:13,400 --> 01:19:17,100
got control of the body.
Now we're we're good and

1342
01:19:17,100 --> 01:19:19,700
conscious you of course he
starts going into his hotel

1343
01:19:19,700 --> 01:19:21,800
again.
I don't find him scary but some

1344
01:19:21,800 --> 01:19:25,400
of the stuff that he says, you
know, he's like yeah you were

1345
01:19:25,400 --> 01:19:28,000
nothing more than a corpse will
not How do you think you own

1346
01:19:28,000 --> 01:19:29,000
this body?
Yeah.

1347
01:19:29,000 --> 01:19:33,400
No I own this body you need to
do what I tell you to do.

1348
01:19:34,500 --> 01:19:37,300
You know, and, and they start
talking about the Scarab and he

1349
01:19:37,300 --> 01:19:41,100
tells Mark he's like, yeah, so
Harrow has that already.

1350
01:19:41,700 --> 01:19:43,700
He's going to find, I'm it's
tuned.

1351
01:19:44,400 --> 01:19:46,200
So Mark was like, okay.
You know what?

1352
01:19:47,500 --> 01:19:53,200
I'm going to have to get that
Scarab back. and, you know, he's

1353
01:19:53,200 --> 01:19:56,500
like, I'm gonna have to do
whatever I have to do and

1354
01:19:56,500 --> 01:19:59,800
conscious like you, okay, we
need each other, so let's do

1355
01:19:59,800 --> 01:20:03,400
this.
He was like, let me tell you,

1356
01:20:04,300 --> 01:20:07,900
you need to do exactly what I
tell you to do when I tell you

1357
01:20:07,900 --> 01:20:10,800
to do it because if I have to go
and find the Avatar, another

1358
01:20:10,800 --> 01:20:13,100
Avatar you're not going to like
who I picked.

1359
01:20:13,100 --> 01:20:14,800
So it's kind of like he's
dangling.

1360
01:20:14,800 --> 01:20:17,400
That whole Layla's gonna be my
next Avatar thing.

1361
01:20:17,800 --> 01:20:22,100
Which again now I want to know
like how con she chooses.

1362
01:20:22,200 --> 01:20:26,300
His avatars, but I guess we'll
find that out later because the

1363
01:20:26,300 --> 01:20:28,900
next thing was probably the best
scene in the hole.

1364
01:20:32,900 --> 01:20:40,500
Because we get Mark, at least I
think that's Mark, he's sitting

1365
01:20:40,500 --> 01:20:46,900
in a hotel room in nothing but
his underwear just sweaty

1366
01:20:46,900 --> 01:20:51,000
glistening drinking alcohol room
is kind of sort of in shambles.

1367
01:20:51,300 --> 01:20:53,900
The mirror is broken so I'm
guessing once he got there,

1368
01:20:53,900 --> 01:20:57,300
maybe him, Steven had another
either him.

1369
01:20:57,300 --> 01:21:00,100
And Stephen had another argument
about who had control of his

1370
01:21:00,100 --> 01:21:02,100
body.
Or the third person that I think

1371
01:21:02,100 --> 01:21:05,100
is there took control of the
body, because the way he's

1372
01:21:05,100 --> 01:21:08,900
looking at the mirror, I feel
again, I don't feel like that

1373
01:21:08,900 --> 01:21:11,400
was Stephen in the mirror that
might have been marking the

1374
01:21:11,400 --> 01:21:14,100
mirror.
Looking at this new person being

1375
01:21:14,100 --> 01:21:19,200
like right shit.
But, you know, he goes to the

1376
01:21:19,200 --> 01:21:21,500
window.
He opens up the curtain and

1377
01:21:21,500 --> 01:21:25,000
there are the pyramids of Giza.
We are in Cairo.

1378
01:21:26,000 --> 01:21:30,600
I'm like, okay.
So we possibly have the third

1379
01:21:30,600 --> 01:21:33,700
personality.
Do y'all think these are the

1380
01:21:33,700 --> 01:21:36,400
only three personalities that
we're going to see in this show.

1381
01:21:37,000 --> 01:21:40,800
Okay, okay, yeah, so I think
there are three main ones.

1382
01:21:40,800 --> 01:21:42,700
Yeah, okay.
Well do you think there anymore?

1383
01:21:42,800 --> 01:21:45,600
Yeah, we're not we're not going
to get anything else, okay.

1384
01:21:46,000 --> 01:21:49,300
I mean we probably can't it's
only a six-episode series they

1385
01:21:49,600 --> 01:21:51,800
literally would not have time to
do all of this.

1386
01:21:51,800 --> 01:21:55,400
I think that I've, yeah, I'm
think I'm with you on that.

1387
01:21:55,400 --> 01:21:58,000
I'm that I'm going back and
thinking about it.

1388
01:21:58,200 --> 01:22:02,400
I think that because you heart
the thing about it is like the

1389
01:22:02,400 --> 01:22:06,900
mark that was sitting on the
floor by the bed was drinking

1390
01:22:06,900 --> 01:22:08,800
like pulling liquor straight out
of the bottle.

1391
01:22:08,800 --> 01:22:11,500
It doesn't seem like a mark
thing to do is definitely not

1392
01:22:11,500 --> 01:22:14,000
Steven thing to do but it
doesn't really seem like a mark

1393
01:22:14,000 --> 01:22:18,500
thing to do and just to be kind
of like on the floor like of

1394
01:22:18,500 --> 01:22:22,100
course, like half-naked.
Like we don't know what that

1395
01:22:22,100 --> 01:22:24,000
was.
I don't think he had anybody

1396
01:22:24,000 --> 01:22:26,700
with him.
But again you see like the you

1397
01:22:26,700 --> 01:22:28,500
see shattered glass on the A
floor.

1398
01:22:28,500 --> 01:22:32,600
You see like a tray on the
floor.

1399
01:22:32,700 --> 01:22:35,700
The mirror is broken again.
So it's kind of like there was

1400
01:22:35,700 --> 01:22:40,200
some kind of struggle there and
I feel like that might have been

1401
01:22:40,200 --> 01:22:43,900
between Mark and whoever this
third personality is because

1402
01:22:43,900 --> 01:22:47,800
again it seems like this third
personality will probably be

1403
01:22:48,300 --> 01:22:51,800
even more dangerous than Mark,
if that makes sense.

1404
01:22:51,800 --> 01:22:54,900
I don't know how I know that
just looking at what we saw in

1405
01:22:54,907 --> 01:22:58,800
this episode, but just the way
that he was looking, Get Mark

1406
01:22:58,800 --> 01:23:02,900
through the mirror after Mark,
you know, kind of, you know,

1407
01:23:02,900 --> 01:23:05,900
smash the mirror, trying to get
Stephen out of his head.

1408
01:23:05,900 --> 01:23:09,900
It's kind of like, oh, okay.
So you want to be an asshole and

1409
01:23:09,900 --> 01:23:11,700
King, Stephen that.
We're here comes the bigger

1410
01:23:11,700 --> 01:23:14,200
badder asshole.
And I'm letting you know that

1411
01:23:14,200 --> 01:23:15,800
I'm here in your days are
numbered.

1412
01:23:15,800 --> 01:23:19,200
That's kind of how I read that
scene, right?

1413
01:23:19,200 --> 01:23:22,600
Because again, we, you talked
about it earlier and I talked

1414
01:23:22,600 --> 01:23:26,300
about last episode about the way
that he portrays such

1415
01:23:26,300 --> 01:23:28,000
differences in these two
characters.

1416
01:23:28,100 --> 01:23:31,000
Has that we've seen so far the
third character, even just

1417
01:23:31,000 --> 01:23:36,400
seeing him in the mirror.
I felt like that was somebody

1418
01:23:36,400 --> 01:23:40,100
completely different.
So I don't know if the waiver

1419
01:23:40,300 --> 01:23:44,100
the way the room with was, like,
completely wrecked that that's

1420
01:23:44,100 --> 01:23:47,200
not a Mark or Stephen thing,
right?

1421
01:23:47,200 --> 01:23:52,500
Either I am a bit room, was in
shambles and like, I feel like I

1422
01:23:52,700 --> 01:23:57,000
again, I feel like that might
have been Mark and this third

1423
01:23:57,000 --> 01:23:59,700
person, that was the
Personalities name is it?

1424
01:23:59,700 --> 01:24:02,300
Jake.
Okay, so I feel like that might

1425
01:24:02,300 --> 01:24:06,500
have been Mark and Jake may be
fighting for control over the

1426
01:24:06,500 --> 01:24:09,600
body.
You know, like, Mark is trying

1427
01:24:09,600 --> 01:24:15,100
to keep Jake, push down to the,
you know, to the backseat.

1428
01:24:15,100 --> 01:24:19,900
So, so to speak.
And he's steadily fighting

1429
01:24:20,000 --> 01:24:21,200
trying to get control.
Nothing.

1430
01:24:21,200 --> 01:24:23,300
Stephen is just kind of like,
you know what, I'ma let y'all

1431
01:24:23,300 --> 01:24:25,200
handle this.
I'm not part of this.

1432
01:24:25,700 --> 01:24:27,600
That's just kind of how it came
across to me.

1433
01:24:29,300 --> 01:24:35,000
I can agree with that.
I think that I mean, if Laura,

1434
01:24:35,000 --> 01:24:38,400
can correct me if I'm wrong, but
I think that when it comes Comes

1435
01:24:38,400 --> 01:24:41,100
down to it.
Jake is the fighter of the

1436
01:24:41,100 --> 01:24:43,500
three.
Like he's the one that is

1437
01:24:43,500 --> 01:24:48,000
actually the one that handles
the rough stuff I believe you're

1438
01:24:48,000 --> 01:24:48,700
correct.
Yes.

1439
01:24:49,100 --> 01:24:51,800
Yeah.
And like to but let's see.

1440
01:24:51,800 --> 01:24:54,300
Then conversely.
Stephen is supposed to be the

1441
01:24:54,300 --> 01:24:56,900
smooth one.
Like that's why the he has the

1442
01:24:56,900 --> 01:24:58,100
mr.
Night suit.

1443
01:24:58,100 --> 01:25:00,800
Like he's supposed to be the one
that's like Suave and

1444
01:25:00,800 --> 01:25:03,900
sophisticated and then it's
like, Mark is like the rugged

1445
01:25:03,900 --> 01:25:07,400
Explorer.
And I mean, they each have this

1446
01:25:07,400 --> 01:25:11,000
like when one Them takes over.
There's the specific reason like

1447
01:25:11,000 --> 01:25:13,900
there's a role to be played.
So when I'm going to take over

1448
01:25:13,900 --> 01:25:16,300
and fulfill that role then
they'll go back.

1449
01:25:16,300 --> 01:25:18,600
Hmm.
So that's what Jake's role is to

1450
01:25:18,600 --> 01:25:22,200
definitely basically and enforce
her or a poor.

1451
01:25:22,200 --> 01:25:25,600
Like the guy that you know that
God is here to punch you in the

1452
01:25:25,600 --> 01:25:27,700
face, make you do something make
you do, right?

1453
01:25:27,800 --> 01:25:31,600
So he's probably the killer of
the three, not just Mark like we

1454
01:25:31,600 --> 01:25:35,300
know Mark probably had a hand in
some of that but some of the I

1455
01:25:35,300 --> 01:25:39,600
don't know, some of the
brutalities kind of like I don't

1456
01:25:39,600 --> 01:25:44,200
know, like I said, when you look
at the way that those two that

1457
01:25:44,200 --> 01:25:48,900
Mark in that mirror image are I
feel like Jake is going to be

1458
01:25:48,900 --> 01:25:53,900
the one that is out of control.
Like, Mark he does the killing

1459
01:25:53,900 --> 01:25:56,900
he does the fighting, but I
think he can control it like he

1460
01:25:56,900 --> 01:26:01,300
knows not to go, too far.
That's just kind of the vibe I

1461
01:26:01,300 --> 01:26:03,600
get from his character and I
feel like Jake is going to be

1462
01:26:03,600 --> 01:26:05,500
the one that's like the unhinged
one.

1463
01:26:05,500 --> 01:26:09,100
He's gonna he's gonna be the one
that's like OK, at all costs.

1464
01:26:09,900 --> 01:26:12,900
Yeah, you're probably right.
I think you're right about that.

1465
01:26:13,400 --> 01:26:17,200
I mean time will tell but yeah,
I'm really enjoying this series.

1466
01:26:18,400 --> 01:26:21,100
Yeah, this is this is what I
think I think by the end of it

1467
01:26:21,100 --> 01:26:24,200
all is this my actually be my
favorite series?

1468
01:26:25,400 --> 01:26:28,200
I'm actually been seeing a lot
of people say that and then I

1469
01:26:28,200 --> 01:26:30,600
have seen some people who are
like, I'm so confused, I don't

1470
01:26:30,600 --> 01:26:43,400
know what's going on but yeah,
it is, you're right, yeah, even

1471
01:26:43,400 --> 01:26:45,400
if you pay attention to first
time, you probably have to watch

1472
01:26:45,400 --> 01:26:48,800
it another time or two, just to
get of the little things.

1473
01:26:48,800 --> 01:26:53,500
This is like especially because
I think if I didn't know better,

1474
01:26:53,500 --> 01:26:56,700
I think that they're Going to
try to sneak before they

1475
01:26:56,700 --> 01:26:59,500
actually reveal Jake.
I think they're probably going

1476
01:26:59,500 --> 01:27:02,700
to try to sneak little bits of
things.

1477
01:27:02,700 --> 01:27:05,900
Little bits of part, little
Parts where that could be Jake.

1478
01:27:06,300 --> 01:27:09,900
Like, if you, if you see him,
see Mark, just sick kind of

1479
01:27:09,900 --> 01:27:13,300
sitting there and looking
around, like, that could be Jake

1480
01:27:13,600 --> 01:27:17,600
or it's like, if he doesn't say
anything because he's already,

1481
01:27:17,600 --> 01:27:21,200
he's already set up.
Where I'll, you can tell which

1482
01:27:21,200 --> 01:27:25,300
one is which by their accent,
like British accent.

1483
01:27:25,300 --> 01:27:27,600
Steven Reich.
A regular accent smart.

1484
01:27:27,900 --> 01:27:32,500
So there's so now I'm kind of
I'm kind of picking up on

1485
01:27:32,500 --> 01:27:36,100
auditory Clues where if I hear
an accent that's kind of

1486
01:27:36,100 --> 01:27:38,200
different.
I'm like oh he might be he's

1487
01:27:38,200 --> 01:27:42,400
doing Jake is doing Jake so it
definitely keeps you on your

1488
01:27:42,400 --> 01:27:49,500
toes.
Yeah so Layla has the Scarab

1489
01:27:50,000 --> 01:27:53,400
well no excuse me, Harrell has
the Scarab and I said labor

1490
01:27:53,400 --> 01:27:55,500
early Harold.
Has the scared.

1491
01:27:56,300 --> 01:27:59,500
He's going to release our meant
Layla has taken off.

1492
01:27:59,500 --> 01:28:02,600
We don't know where she is, but
she had this look on her face,

1493
01:28:02,600 --> 01:28:03,500
like yeah.
You know what?

1494
01:28:03,500 --> 01:28:10,600
This is not what I signed up for
and then we have Mark /.

1495
01:28:10,600 --> 01:28:16,700
Stevens slash whoever in Cairo,
So it's kind of like, mmm.

1496
01:28:16,900 --> 01:28:19,600
I have a feeling this is about
to get really interesting now,

1497
01:28:19,600 --> 01:28:26,200
because you're in Egypt, like
again, going back to the mummy.

1498
01:28:26,200 --> 01:28:29,900
This is where all the shit
happens, but I get a spicy no

1499
01:28:29,900 --> 01:28:33,400
harm ever came from reading a
book or playing with a Scarab.

1500
01:28:33,900 --> 01:28:38,900
No, don't open the Scarab, you
know, but at least we haven't

1501
01:28:38,900 --> 01:28:42,000
seen, we haven't seen a real
Scarab just kind of break off

1502
01:28:42,000 --> 01:28:44,600
that gold and just kind of dig
itself into somebody's body.

1503
01:28:44,700 --> 01:28:49,700
So that that's a good sign.
I know speaking of weirds, why

1504
01:28:49,700 --> 01:28:51,700
haven't we just destroyed the
scare?

1505
01:28:51,700 --> 01:28:54,100
Why?
Why have we melted it down

1506
01:28:54,100 --> 01:28:56,800
Brook, nothing Sweeney.
Really haven't had time to do

1507
01:28:56,800 --> 01:28:59,800
that because if you think about
it, Steven doesn't even know

1508
01:28:59,800 --> 01:29:03,200
what the Scarab is.
He's just like, okay, really

1509
01:29:03,200 --> 01:29:07,100
pretty shiny thing.
Somebody else wants it, maybe

1510
01:29:07,100 --> 01:29:10,800
let me try to hide it.
Like, I think with everything

1511
01:29:10,800 --> 01:29:13,700
going on in his life right now,
like him, trying to figure out

1512
01:29:13,700 --> 01:29:17,400
what's going on.
Why he's blacking out, why he's

1513
01:29:17,400 --> 01:29:19,400
running from so-called
invisible.

1514
01:29:19,400 --> 01:29:22,500
Things on the video camera, just
losing his job.

1515
01:29:22,600 --> 01:29:24,200
I think he has a lot going on
that.

1516
01:29:24,200 --> 01:29:26,900
He's not really thinking about
it in that sense like, oh, I

1517
01:29:26,907 --> 01:29:32,400
need to destroy it and then
again, We see Steve like Stephen

1518
01:29:33,100 --> 01:29:35,100
Prouty.
I don't know what's going on in

1519
01:29:35,100 --> 01:29:38,300
his life and why he's not
Stephen obviously should have

1520
01:29:38,300 --> 01:29:41,700
been an archaeologist and I
don't think that he would

1521
01:29:41,700 --> 01:29:45,000
destroy something like that
because we see he has such

1522
01:29:45,000 --> 01:29:49,500
reverence for those things, you
see it, when he's giving the

1523
01:29:49,500 --> 01:29:53,300
impromptu tour in the museum,
the way that he kind of just

1524
01:29:53,300 --> 01:29:56,300
looks at everything, all the
stuff in his apartment, you

1525
01:29:56,300 --> 01:29:57,900
know, the cop picked up a
pyramid.

1526
01:29:57,900 --> 01:30:00,400
He was like, what is this?
And he was like, Miss

1527
01:30:00,400 --> 01:30:04,700
paperweight, but it was very
clearly a paperweight with, like

1528
01:30:05,000 --> 01:30:08,800
writing.
And you know, he has such

1529
01:30:08,800 --> 01:30:12,700
reverence for these things that
I don't think he would destroy

1530
01:30:12,700 --> 01:30:14,600
it.
He would probably try to find

1531
01:30:14,600 --> 01:30:18,000
somewhere to hide it, but I
don't think he would destroy it.

1532
01:30:18,100 --> 01:30:22,700
Layla, of course, if she is from
what I gather from what she

1533
01:30:22,700 --> 01:30:27,200
said, it appears like, she might
be a scavenger or she might be

1534
01:30:27,208 --> 01:30:29,900
somebody who's into getting
those types of things.

1535
01:30:30,000 --> 01:30:33,300
Things and I don't know.
I know Lori said something about

1536
01:30:33,300 --> 01:30:36,200
her father used to be an
archaeologist so again she may

1537
01:30:36,200 --> 01:30:39,500
have a healthy respect or
reverence for those types of

1538
01:30:39,500 --> 01:30:43,900
things, she probably wouldn't
think to destroy it.

1539
01:30:44,000 --> 01:30:47,400
But again she still kind of sort
of on the fence up until the end

1540
01:30:47,400 --> 01:30:51,400
of this episode about what the
scare really means and why it is

1541
01:30:51,400 --> 01:30:56,400
so sought out, you know, Marc
Marc knows with the Scarab use.

1542
01:30:57,000 --> 01:30:58,000
I agree.
Yes right.

1543
01:30:58,000 --> 01:31:04,300
Cognac.
The the moon God would have told

1544
01:31:04,500 --> 01:31:08,500
ya, it was so this is probably
why the storage container was

1545
01:31:08,500 --> 01:31:12,700
the best place to hide it,
because he was the only one that

1546
01:31:12,700 --> 01:31:15,100
knew that it was there, you
know?

1547
01:31:15,100 --> 01:31:18,000
And, and Stephen just kind of
stumbled upon it.

1548
01:31:19,100 --> 01:31:23,100
Yeah, see see the wife strikes,
me going back, a few sentences,

1549
01:31:23,100 --> 01:31:28,300
the wife strikes me as someone
who is not a scavenger but

1550
01:31:28,300 --> 01:31:32,000
there's this popular profession
called Antiquities dealer.

1551
01:31:32,200 --> 01:31:35,800
Where I get the idea that she
sort of one of those people that

1552
01:31:35,800 --> 01:31:39,300
deals heavily on the black
market, or the gray market and

1553
01:31:39,300 --> 01:31:41,600
can find you something.
I mean, one of the biggest

1554
01:31:41,600 --> 01:31:44,200
things that the that British
people did back in the day,

1555
01:31:44,500 --> 01:31:48,200
especially the Victorian era is
that they would pay huge amounts

1556
01:31:48,200 --> 01:31:50,200
of money.
To acquire a mummy and have it

1557
01:31:50,200 --> 01:31:52,900
transported back to England and
they would pop it up in their

1558
01:31:52,900 --> 01:31:55,800
living room and oh I have a
mummy, you know, I mean that

1559
01:31:55,800 --> 01:32:00,300
that type of stuff is what I see
her either doing or used to do

1560
01:32:00,300 --> 01:32:03,700
or very close ties to people who
do that type of thing.

1561
01:32:03,800 --> 01:32:06,400
So, the Scarab would be
interesting to her from a

1562
01:32:06,407 --> 01:32:09,800
financial aspect as in, who's
going to be the biggest, you

1563
01:32:09,800 --> 01:32:11,800
know, by okay, that makes sense.
What I?

1564
01:32:11,800 --> 01:32:14,300
Yeah, but I'm sorry.
I don't care how much money I

1565
01:32:14,308 --> 01:32:17,700
have.
There's no way indeed hail.

1566
01:32:18,500 --> 01:32:22,300
No, I'm going to anybody's mummy
in my living quarters anywhere.

1567
01:32:22,400 --> 01:32:25,200
I have seen way too many.
No, absolutely not.

1568
01:32:25,200 --> 01:32:28,200
Absolutely, not ashes in my
living room.

1569
01:32:28,200 --> 01:32:30,300
Seriously, I'm just that freak
out.

1570
01:32:30,300 --> 01:32:31,400
No.
Hmm.

1571
01:32:32,500 --> 01:32:34,200
No ocean.
No.

1572
01:32:34,800 --> 01:32:38,700
But what you said makes sense?
Lauren, I think I think you're

1573
01:32:38,700 --> 01:32:39,700
right.
I think she may be an

1574
01:32:39,700 --> 01:32:42,400
Antiquities dealer just from
what I.

1575
01:32:42,400 --> 01:32:47,500
Yeah I think you're right but um
So yeah, I don't think she would

1576
01:32:47,500 --> 01:32:49,700
destroy it.
Of course, Harrows, not going to

1577
01:32:49,700 --> 01:32:55,300
destroy it, and nobody else has
really had it at this point.

1578
01:32:55,400 --> 01:32:59,700
Like I said, Stephen would look
at it and be like, okay, we need

1579
01:32:59,700 --> 01:33:02,800
this, you know, do or we're not
going to destroy this.

1580
01:33:02,800 --> 01:33:06,000
This is a piece of History.
Maybe like again, he really

1581
01:33:06,000 --> 01:33:10,100
doesn't know what the Scarab is
or what it's what it means for

1582
01:33:10,100 --> 01:33:14,700
Mark.
I kind of wonder if he hasn't

1583
01:33:14,700 --> 01:33:21,500
destroyed the Scarab because
he's looking at it as leverage

1584
01:33:21,500 --> 01:33:26,100
like, oh, I may need to keep
this or oh, if costume is really

1585
01:33:26,100 --> 01:33:29,300
getting on my nerves.
Maybe I can find a man and get

1586
01:33:29,300 --> 01:33:33,800
him booted out or, you know,
maybe he has that kind of plan

1587
01:33:33,800 --> 01:33:36,600
in the back of his mind because
we already know, yes, he's under

1588
01:33:36,600 --> 01:33:40,300
conscious control for the most
part but he also feels like

1589
01:33:40,300 --> 01:33:45,500
khonshu is gunning for For Layla
and we've already seen he said

1590
01:33:45,500 --> 01:33:47,700
he said he's not going to let
that happen.

1591
01:33:48,100 --> 01:33:53,200
So if you have to go against a
guy who is controlling your body

1592
01:33:53,500 --> 01:33:57,000
to keep him from going after
someone you love, what's going

1593
01:33:57,000 --> 01:34:00,000
to be the best weapon against
that.

1594
01:34:00,000 --> 01:34:04,800
God may be another God.
So maybe he's keeping the Scarab

1595
01:34:05,300 --> 01:34:08,500
around for that purpose.
I don't know.

1596
01:34:08,500 --> 01:34:12,800
Again, we're only two episodes
in so I don't know.

1597
01:34:12,800 --> 01:34:15,000
It's gonna be interesting to see
what Harold does which is no

1598
01:34:15,000 --> 01:34:17,300
because I mean we know he's
going to look for our Med.

1599
01:34:17,600 --> 01:34:20,100
I just want to know how accurate
like is that scared.

1600
01:34:20,100 --> 01:34:21,700
Really going to lead him to her
body.

1601
01:34:22,200 --> 01:34:27,600
Yeah I don't know how he does
it.

1602
01:34:27,700 --> 01:34:33,600
I mean, But we already know that
raising Raising Dead gods or

1603
01:34:33,600 --> 01:34:36,600
imprison.
God's is not a smart thing to

1604
01:34:36,600 --> 01:34:37,800
do.
Yeah.

1605
01:34:37,800 --> 01:34:40,800
They were imprisoned for a
reason.

1606
01:34:41,400 --> 01:34:46,000
The advance our work.
If all the gods got forgiven and

1607
01:34:46,000 --> 01:34:48,300
said, yeah, you got to be put
away.

1608
01:34:48,700 --> 01:34:51,800
It's those probably, a good
thing is probably not a good

1609
01:34:51,800 --> 01:34:55,200
thing to bring them out.
Leave them put away, just like

1610
01:34:55,200 --> 01:34:58,700
people, go exploring and find
things and find boxes and open

1611
01:34:58,700 --> 01:35:01,300
them.
Like, Like put it back.

1612
01:35:02,200 --> 01:35:05,400
What's wrong with you?
Like there's the people hide

1613
01:35:05,400 --> 01:35:11,400
things away in dark dark and
dank caves tunnels under water.

1614
01:35:11,400 --> 01:35:14,100
Like they locked away for a
reason for local, trying to

1615
01:35:14,100 --> 01:35:19,200
figure out locks and open doors
and stuff when they stopped just

1616
01:35:19,200 --> 01:35:24,100
know Jesus.
Mmm, why there's no point to it?

1617
01:35:24,400 --> 01:35:26,600
I guess, we'll figure out why
next episode.

1618
01:35:26,600 --> 01:35:30,000
Because, like I said, he's at
He's an Egypt.

1619
01:35:30,000 --> 01:35:31,600
We know that's where Harrow is
going.

1620
01:35:31,600 --> 01:35:35,200
So I think he may have gotten
their little bit easier than

1621
01:35:35,200 --> 01:35:37,900
Harold did because I think Khan
should just kind of was like

1622
01:35:37,900 --> 01:35:42,100
here take my hand whoosh.
He's look, guys, you can

1623
01:35:42,100 --> 01:35:44,500
teleport.
I mean, that's his thing.

1624
01:35:44,500 --> 01:35:47,000
He's a trouble.
He's the god of travelers to

1625
01:35:47,100 --> 01:35:51,200
yeah.
So, so let's be like I'm come

1626
01:35:51,200 --> 01:35:55,500
here.
Here here here and here so it's

1627
01:35:55,500 --> 01:36:00,600
about to get interesting fussy.
Hmm.

1628
01:36:01,300 --> 01:36:02,800
I'm looking, I'm looking forward
to it.

1629
01:36:05,200 --> 01:36:10,500
I just I'm just shout out to
this show for just kind of

1630
01:36:10,508 --> 01:36:12,700
creating a new version of
Shaggy's, it wasn't me.

1631
01:36:13,300 --> 01:36:17,500
Like let's just save money
camera, it wasn't me but it is

1632
01:36:17,500 --> 01:36:22,900
like We're this the point where
I need to end the show is this.

1633
01:36:22,900 --> 01:36:30,200
The point is very bad note.
I'm just saying anybody have any

1634
01:36:30,200 --> 01:36:34,200
final thoughts about Moon night,
after he might take it.

1635
01:36:35,100 --> 01:36:38,200
I agree.
Ryan will on that note.

1636
01:36:38,700 --> 01:36:42,000
